I woke up to the soft glow of the morning sun streaming through the curtains, casting a warm light over Jungkook's peaceful face. His arms were wrapped around me, holding me close, and for a moment, I just lay there, savoring the feeling of safety and warmth. His breathing was steady and rhythmic, and I could feel the gentle rise and fall of his chest against my back.
Slowly, Jungkook stirred, his eyes fluttering open. He smiled sleepily at me, his grip tightening around my waist. "Morning," he murmured, his voice husky with sleep.
"Morning," I replied, snuggling closer to him. We lay there for a few moments longer, enjoying the quiet intimacy of the morning before the world intruded.
Jungkook sighed, his expression shifting to something more serious. "We need to talk about something," he said, his voice gentle but firm.
I turned to face him, my heart skipping a beat at the seriousness in his tone. "What is it?" I asked, searching his eyes for answers.
He took a deep breath brushing a hand thorugh his hair , his gaze steady and reassuring.
"We have an interview today," he began, "to address the tabloid rumors about our soulmates."
My heart sank a little at the mention of the tabloids.
The idea of being thrust into the spotlight was daunting, and I couldn't help but feel a wave of anxiety wash over me.
"What are you going to say?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
Jungkook reached out, gently brushing a strand of hair from my face. "We're going to be honest," he said softly.
"We'll talk about the fact that we've found our soulmates but we're not going to disclose who they are. The company will help manage the media, and we'll make sure to keep your identity safe."
I nodded slowly, taking in his words. The idea of going public was terrifying, but I knew that it was necessary. "What if they still find out?" I asked, voicing my deepest fear.
Jungkook's expression softened, and he took my hand, lifting it to his lips and pressing a kiss to my soulmate tattoo. "No matter what happens, I'll be here for you," he promised. "We'll face it together."
His words brought a measure of comfort, and I leaned into him, feeling a little more at ease. "Thank you," I whispered, my voice trembling slightly.
He pulled me into a tight embrace, his warmth and strength seeping into me. "We've got this," he murmured against my hair, his breath warm on my skin.
For a few moments, we simply held each other, drawing strength from our connection. Then, slowly, Jungkook leaned down, his lips brushing against mine in a soft, tender kiss. It was a promise, a reassurance, and a declaration of his unwavering support.
The kiss deepened, and I felt myself melting into him, my fears and anxieties momentarily forgotten. Jungkook's hands were gentle but firm as they roamed my back, pulling me closer until there was no space left between us.
When we finally pulled apart, breathless and flushed, Jungkook rested his forehead against mine, his eyes filled with love and determination. "No matter what happens, we'll get through this together," he said, his voice filled with conviction.
Jungkook's words kept echoing in my head as I tried to wrap my mind around what he just said. It wasn't just about him spilling the beans on having a soulmate; it was about the whole crew stepping up, facing the media together like a solid team. I felt a mix of jitters and determination swirling around inside me.
"We're gonna cover up our tatoos so your identities arent revealed ," Jungkook went on, breaking through my thoughts. "And the girls will be there with you. We're all just as jittery as you, Ari."
His reassurance helped calm me down a bit, and I nodded, appreciating his support. "Thanks," I murmured, my voice barely above a whisper.
He flashed me a gentle smile, his eyes softening as he reached out to brush my cheek. "We've got this," he said, sounding all confident.
I leaned into his touch, feeling a warm rush of gratitude and affection. "Together," I agreed, my voice steadier now.
As we snuggled up in bed, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. Whatever the heck was coming our way, I knew that with Jungkook by my side and the gang having my back, I could handle it.
With a final squeeze of his hand, I reluctantly peeled myself out of bed, gearing up to face the big day ahead. Today was the day they'd finally tackle those tabloid rumors and let the world know about their soulmate status.
As I got myself together and got ready for the day, a flutter of nervous excitement danced in my stomach. But we were a team and we were gonna get through this together
