It had been several days since Armin had taken the princess on their starlit escapade in the forest. One might assume that by now she would have moved on, but her heart was still consumed by a deep wanderlust to explore more of this wild and unknown world. As she awoke this morning, she immediately made her way to the balcony, eager to learn more about the ocean. The way Armin had described it to her that night beneath the twinkling stars had sparked an insatiable curiosity within her. The thought of turning waves, sculpted by salt water, crashing and dissolving at her feet was simply too captivating to ignore. She had only experienced natural bodies of water at the river and waterfalls with Armin just a few nights ago, but now she was realizing that oceans covered much of the earth. It was all so fascinating, and she couldn't help but yearn for more knowledge and adventure.
Armin wasn't much better. He can't get the look of awe on Y/n's face as she took in her surroundings out of his head. It wasn't the first time he had seen it all, but her face when she saw it all for the first time had been painted in his memory. The way her eyes widened and glimmered under the starry sky was a sight he would never forget. He couldn't stop admiring how effortlessly beautiful she looked in the moonlight. The plus side was that everything had gone smoothly on their adventure outside the castle walls, thanks to Connie keeping his promise to keep their secret safe. No one would ever suspect that they had left the safety of their home for a night filled with wonder and magic.
