It was early the next morning when Starscream woke up, he was the only one practically awake at that moment.
He kept his optics closed as he stretched.
That's when he felt something moving against his foot.
His optics fluttered open, and that's when he saw one of the Gargoylacons on him.
The seeker didn't quite panic, because he knew that if he did, he could possibly trigger the creature.
So, he slowly lifted his arm, aimed his missile at it, and the second he launched it, Starscream quickly stood up, grabbed the two sleeping humans and Wheelie, and ran off without looking back.

The Autobots had managed to ward off the flying entities with little to no casualties.
The sun had just broken over the horizon as the Autobots gathered themselves up and began looking for Starscream, Maggie, Sam, and Wheelie. The Autobots followed the direction that the seeker went to escape, the dark forest.
"Do you think we'll find 'em?" Darksteel asked.
"Depends on how good their survival skills are." Cade said.
"Then they're alive." Jessica said confidently.
"Autobots, stay alert and ready, the Gargoylacons could have taken the forest for shelter." Optimus Prime said.
"I and my brethren could scope out the area." Predaking suggested.
"Keep a look out." Optimus Prime replied.
The Predacons, including Axl, transformed to their beast modes and took off towards the sky, gliding over the forest as the Autobots waited outside of the realm of the woodland.
It took about 10 minutes before the Predacons landed in front of the Autobots to report back.
"Nothing, not even Starscream." Predaking relayed.
"Maybe he made it to the other side of the forestry." Hotrod proposed.
"It is a definite possibility. Autobots, roll out!" Optimus Prime announced.
The Predacons followed in their robot modes as the Autobots entered the woods.

Starscream stopped running once more, and as he turned around to make sure nothing was behind him, the Gargoylacon crashed into the seeker, sending him backwards and the two humans flying, as well as Wheelie.
They were almost out of the forest and almost into grassland at that time.
Sam landed next to a fallen tree trunk with Wheelie next to him.
Maggie landed on hard ground; she had passed out.
Starscream fought the vicious Gargoylacon, and with one swift move, he wrapped his digits around its neck and plucked its helm off.
He then threw the body aside and stood up.
"Everyone ... ok?" Starscream asked in a sigh.
"I'm fine." Sam grunted as he sat up, eventually standing.
"Where's Maggie?" Wheelie asked, looking around.
That's when Sam caught sight of her, his heart nearly stopped beating.
