"Hello! Hello!" Owais Pathan said in a trembling voice.

"Yes, I'm listening... How come you remembered me?" Abbas asked with simplicity, though he knew the reason for their call.

"Um... Zehra..." He hesitated as he was about to tell him. After a brief moment of silence, he started speaking.

"I can't reach Zehra's phone. She went to Jammu. I sent Haidar with her too-"

"She is with me," he interrupted.

"What? With you?" He thought he had heard wrong. Hearing this, Nida and Farah turned their attention towards him. They knew he was talking to Abbas. Both of them sighed in relief as soon as they heard this.

"Yes, with me. She's fine. There's no need to worry. I'll send her back in a few days." He reassured him, but Owais Pathan became even more worried.

"Why is she with you?" he asked with concern.

"Because you don't seem to care about her. And why did you think it wasn't necessary to inform me before sending her there? Huh? If I hadn't gone there, who knows what might have happened to her." This time he spoke a bit rudely and yelled.

"What? Those people came there too!"

"Yes, they did. But now I've brought her to a safe place."

"Thank God. Let me talk to her. And what did you tell her to bring her with you?" This question crossed Owais Pathan's mind.

"I can't let you talk to her."

"Why?"

"I kidnapped her and brought her here."

"What! Are you out of your mind? You could have just told her and taken her with you. She must be so worried. Let me talk to her now!" He yelled.

"I had no other way. And letting you talk to her could ruin everything. She's comfortable here right now."

Owais Pathan fell into deep thought. Then he realized that what he said made sense. "Alright, just take good care of her."

As soon as he hung up the phone, Owais Pathan remembered Haidar. He had forgotten to ask about him. But then he thought that if Zehra was fine, Haidar would be fine too.

He didn't know that 'Abbas Ali Khan' didn't love anyone in this world except Zehra Pathan, didn't care about anyone, and had no sympathy for anyone, especially not for Haidar. He hated him. He felt like killing him but never had a solid reason. And as soon as he found a reason, he shot Haidar in the forehead.

Zehra had been sitting alone in her room for three hours. Abbas had not come into the room even once. She was very distressed because now she couldn't even stand on her feet. She was cursing herself, calling herself clumsy because she had bumped into the flower pot. If she hadn't bumped into it, Abbas wouldn't have woken up from the noise and glass wouldn't have pierced her feet. By now, she would have gone far away and maybe found someone to help her.

Zehra hadn't slept the entire night and now it was afternoon. She felt tired but she didn't want to sleep in such circumstances.

But what really bothered her was why Abbas hadn't come to her room in three hours. She was hungry too. Since morning, after having coffee, she hadn't eaten anything. The water jug beside her was also empty.

And the worst part was that she had become dependent on Abbas even for going to the washroom. She didn't like at all that now, if she had to go to the washroom, she would have to take Abbas's help.
