"The illness is chronic, not acute, and will not go away with time."

Dr. Timbs informed Michael's high school of his condition and told them to be weary of his actions. On his way home from F.C.O.T.Y., Michael listened to Sing for the Moment by Eminem. The lulling guitar in the song calmed his clouded head as he prepared himself for the ridicule of the actors at school tomorrow. His mother pulled into the driveway and noticed that the house next door to them had new tenants moving into it. Michael walked over and saw a family of four, who he would get to know as his new neighbors. A short girl about his age stood out in front of the house and once she saw Michael, walked over to him.

"Take a picture, it will last longer."

"Hi, I'm Michael."

"I know who you are, we have three classes together dummy." The girl wasn't new to Fairfield, she was just new to the neighborhood.

"Oh, well I have no idea who you are."

"How sweet? You sure know how to sweet talk a girl Mike."

"Michael."

"What?"

"My name is Michael, not Mike."

"Whatever you say Mike. Anyways if you seem to remember, my name is Sam."

"Nice to meet you Sam, but I gotta go take my pills or I will start talking to nobody again, bye." Michael view his condition as nothing, even an everyday topic of conversation. He just never really thought of it as an uncomfortable subject for other people around him.

"Um bye?" Sam looked with astonishment as Michael walked into his house to take his medication, that he had no problem of mentioning. She grew an interest to understand her new acquaintance's mind.
