The Judge

A brief introduction I believe, is in order. Solely to satiate your curiosity about the Judge, her background and qualifications.

I've heard many people doubt the Judge of a graphic contest based on how good they are at designing which I believe to be an absolutely ridiculous criterion to qualify someone, as a Judge.

A good designer can be a bad judge,
And a bad designer can be a good judge.

But anyway, I know some of you will arrive at this place not knowing who I am and what I've done for these past 3 or 4 years on Wattpad so I'll reveal any relevant piece of info you need to know about me as a gd and graphic contest judge :)

+ I first came on Wattpad in April 2020. (didn't most of us?)

+ I started as a reader and writer but then started graphic designing too for I wanted to make covers for the books that I wrote. I probably started designing in September 2020 and it's been going on ever since.

+ As for my Judging Experience:
1. Rose's Graphic Contest | The first contest series I hosted & judged. (probably 4-5 until I revamped the theme and stuff)
2. Felix Felicis Graphic Contest | The revamped GC series (which now is on hold) has 4 contests completed :)
3. Starlight A Graphic War | This was the first graphic war I had hosted years ago and almost neared completion BUT- someone reported the story and it got unpublished. After that, it vanished from the drafts (draft vanishing was a thing back then) and sadly, I didn't back up all the progress and points and stuff 😭
(this time, everything has a double back-up so no worries!)
4. Other Contests | I had two or three friends host contests where I was a co-judge.

+ Participating Experience:
1. Normal Contests | When I say participated a lot— I mean, A LOT. I had deadlines one after the other in 2020-2021 because I wanted to practice designing and get better at it :')
2. Graphic Wars | Black Rose, Books and Beyond, and Cecilia were some of the Graphic Wars I participated in which did complete. There were a bunch of other wars that got abandoned in the middle so I don't remember much of it. So yeah, I kinda know the participants' side of the war too and will try my best to help the Charmers out throughout this competition ✨

JUDGING CRITERIA

As far as the Judging Criteria is concerned, I will be revealing them as we progress through the Auditions and Acts 'cause each stage has different themes and requires different point distribution.

Each stage will have 70 points as the maximum limit of attainable points (apart from the Mini-Exhibitions which I will elaborate more on when the time comes around)
