It was just another day. Another day in the life of Highschool, simply repeating the same routines and rules over, and over again. Only then, was when Xiao first arrived in your life. From then on, it was almost like a spark lit up again suddenly when you did. Honestly, if you hadn't, you'd probably be sick of everything by that point.

The birds chirped a beautiful and soft song, one that would only make sense to both them, and the love of their lives. The green trees swayed gently with the breeze seemingly surround both you, and your friend. Each step against the pavement grew you closer to your school. One step, and another at a time.

Today, and from then onwards, you decided to take the bus. Of course, though Lumine and Aether would usually meet up with you and walk you to school, they found it difficult walking all of the way close to your house, then walking all of the way to school. Taking the bus to school was just much easier.. if not a little smelly in the mornings.

"Y/N, Y/N! Do you perhaps want to hear some songs I would recommend for your taste? You know im great with finding new songs and music artists for here.. come on, look!" Hu Tao playfully shook you as the bus continued moving. The two of you sat in the back, as they were one of the only seats in the bus which didn't have a lot of crowding. Though you still kept your voice significantly down. Just in case if you were to annoy anybody with your voice somehow.

"Alright.. what do you even have in mind?" You spoke low; softly and quietly. Hu Tao pointed at her phone, which showcased some artist.. or more so a band? You weren't exactly sure. But you did seem to remember a few of their songs from tiktok, as some of them sort of went viral being paired with some audio from "Kimi Ni Todoke"... the artist's name was "wave to earth."

They seemed very simple, and minimal with their titles for their songs. Though, you couldn't help but sort of be allured into their music. They seemed nice to listen to.. maybe you could add some of their songs into your playlist once you've given a listen to them, perhaps?

"Huh.. okay. I'll take a listen to them and tell you my opinion later, then.." You added gently, seeing how Hu Tao pulled her phone away, and simply stuffed it into the pocket of her school bag.

However, when the bus made another stop, was when both Aether and Lumine boarded. Hu Tao silently waved them over, pointing at the empty seats in front of her. After all, the two people in which were sitting in front of you and Hu Tao had left at their stop. Aether shot a thumbs up, rushing Lumine to sit down before the bus began moving again.

"Hey, so where's Ayaka? She always boards the bus with you.." Hu Tao asked the both of them, confused on why Ayaka seemed to not come onto the bus with them. Plus, Ayaka was never late. Always on time, thanks to her brother, Ayato..

"Oh, she began to get driven to school. Apparently, her bodyguard now drives her and Ayato everyday to school.." Aether confirmed Hu Tao's suspicions, looking out the window as he took a moment to sip some of his water from his plastic water bottle. "Hey, well.. atleast she doesn't have to bother coming onto the bus anymore." Lumine added.

"I guess so.." You replied in a bit of a quieter tone.

"Oh, Aether, tell mom I have Volleyball practice after school today. I forgot to pay for my phone.." Lumine suddenly mentioned, turning to Aether and pointing at his phone. "Kay.. I also have practice with my band today afterschool. We're going to practice in a studio Scaramouche managed to rent out, so I'll probably be out for a while.." Aether replied.
