"greetings"
chapter two...
"... Xiao." Your voice carried gentleness, and curiosity.
Suddenly, you heard the sound of.. teleportation? Turning around, you saw.. him.
A young, pale male. Who had dark hair with teal undertones. Who's amber eyes shined ever so brightly even in the darkness of the night. Who's figure was toned and muscular, but not overly. It was.. him.
You stood in silence, under the soft moonlight cased onto your figure. You felt your hair blowed so gently in the breeze, as your gaze travelled onto Xiao.
Wait.. was that really Xiao? The Adeptus Xiao? The Xiao who sacrificed himself centuries, and eons ago, and whom was deemed dead? No.. impossible..
This stuff just seemed so.. impossible in the modern world. However, it wasn't entirely impossible, due to the world's history and past. Where magic was a thing, where people were granted visions from the gods who looked over the lands, to fight..
"... Who.." You trailed off for a moment, the word ever so slightly just hanging off your lips.
"Who are you..?" You managed to mumble out. If you had to be honest, you were nervous, and scared. You still weren't sure if this was the Adeptus Xiao, or simply a stalker trying to cosplay.
He was silent for a moment, glaring into your e/c eyes. You swear you felt his gaze go right through your very soul. His expression was so tense, so fierce..
But it softened. Just by a little.
"Adeptus Xiao. Conquer of Demons." He replied bluntly. His tone sounded rough, and unpolished. A voice that seemed to belong to someone who endeared long suffering, someone whos been hurt before.
But, you were honestly.. shocked. So maybe something else happened all of those years ago, which caused him to stay alive for all of those years.. in that case of crystal, preserving him, almost.
But now you wondered.. how did you melt the crystal off his figure? Was there something special about you that you didn't know? Or was it simply because nobody had ever found him, up until this point.. but surely, with someone literally encased in crystal, someone would've seen him eventually, and it would be all over the news..
He only sighed, looking around him.
"... Well then, who are you, mortal?"
"Y/N L/N.." You replied, taking a step back. "Well.. Uhm, Xiao.. were you following me the whole entire day? And if so.. why..?" You asked out of the blue, bringing your clenched fist in front of your chest.
"Yes, that is true. The only reason why I was was because.. this place is unfamiliar. Im not sure where my homeland is no longer, nor where anybody who I know even is. Everything looks so different from what I've seen; the buildings, the people, and.." He trailed off, seemingly trying to think of many ways to inform you of what he saw throughout his journey after waking up.
He sighed again, bringing his gloved hand, which seemingly had a vision, over to his forehead.
"What I'm trying to say is.. I'm lost, and.." He paused for a moment. It just seemed he couldn't get it out.
