'GOOD MORNING, OR PERHAPS, GOOD EVENING, TWILIGHT. EXCELLENT WORK ON YOUR LAST ASSIGNMENT.'
A spy by the name of Twilight read a newspaper while sitting at the back of a train.
'Thanks to you, the minister lives another day, to the great benefit of our country. Now, without further ado, here is your next mission.'
Twilight closed the newspaper and flipped to it's back page. 'Your target is the head of the National Unity Party, Donovan Desmond. He poses a great threat to the truce between the east and the west.' The spy took a sip of his coffee as he continued to read. 'Your mission is to get close to him and probe any seditious activities.'
'In order to achieve this goal, you are to get married and bear two kids; a teenager and a child.'
Twilight spit out the coffee in his mouth.
"What?"
'Desmond is an extremely cautious man who rarely shows his face out in public. He only makes public appearances at social gatherings held at the elite private school his son attends.'
'They serve as informal get-togethers for the upper echelon of industrial and political leaders. Your children will enrol in this school and infiltrate one of these gatherings.' He put his coffee cup on his train seat's window ledge and now held the newspaper with both of his hands
'The enrolment deadline is drawing near, you only have one week to pull this off'
The newspaper was ripped in half.
"YOU EXPECT ME TO PRODUCE A CHILD AND A TEENAGER WITHIN SEVEN DAYS!?"
Everyone present in the train car turned their heads in the direction of the blonde man.
*AHEM*
"Excuse me"
'Operation Strix. This operation is the key to maintaining peace between East and West... and perhaps, the world. Hero who casts no shadow, the great deeds you and your fellow agents do shall never see the light of day.'
'You will never earn any medals nor make it into the papers. Even so... Never forget that everyone else's day-to-day lives are possible because of your blood, sweat, and tears.'
Twilight closed the newspaper and stared outside the window.
'Very well. I abandoned my identity when I became Twilight. I will play the part of a father with children if I must, for the sake of a better world.'
