Loid thought, walking beside you, Yor and Anya, heading towards Eden Academy for your final results. The air around you was heavy and full of anxiousness, expectant from the behaviour you all displayed at the family interview.

*SNAP*

You cocked your head to identify the source of the sound, finding Yor looking at her wrist in dismay . "My bracelet just broke. Why did it have to happen today?" Loid gave her a reassuring smile. "Oh, I'm sure it's just a coincidence."

"L-Loid, look." Yor pointed at a black cat walking across the sidewalk in front of you. "Oh, come on, Yor. Black cats being unlucky is just a superstition." Twilight explained, giving the woman a weary smile. "Y-You're right." The ravenette agreed and continued walking.

"Papa..."

Anya called out, causing the three of you to stop and stare at Anya who was standing still.

"What's the matter?"

"I just stepped in poop."

"It's not there."

You all stared at the board in horror, unable to find yours and Anya's examination numbers. The air surrounding the four of you was full of dread, contrasting to the gleeful auras of the You slowly turned away and walked in the opposite direction.

'We failed...'

"We failed." Anya mutters made the rest of you stop to look at her. "L-Let's head home." The blonde put a reassuring hand on the telepath's back, giving her an awkward smile.  "I-I'll make us some tea." Yor added.

"I'm sorry... It's all because I stepped in poop." Tears threatened to fall out of Anya's eyes. You crouched down to Anya's height and patted her head. "Anya, if it's anyone's fault, it's mine."

"A moment, Forgers."

Your heads turned to the source of the voice, who was a familiar man who stood under a tree.

"Master Henderson..."
