Manik's pov

Manik come back home only to be welcome with silence. It never happened in two year whenever he comes back home.

Manik went to his room.. to greet with same silence. He become more confused. He freshen up and come down to have dinner.

" Where is Mrs..? " Manik asked Sovita.

" Mrs has gone to grandma house.." Sovita replied.

" Is everything alright sir..? As yesterday Mrs came back crying.. and today she didn't even have breakfast.." Sovita asked concerned. She is the spy of the Grandma.

That when he realised he has planned dinner with Nandini. He didn't even come. He open his mobile to see many missed calls from Nandini and messages from Nandini. He didn't even get time to check his mobile.

That's why she didn't look fine. What she was expecting from him..? He has made it clear to her in the beginning that their relation will be clearly contract and nothing more.

He treats her nicely that doesn't mean he loves her. It is not his fault that she fell in love with him. Even though she hasn't told him yet. He is pretending not to know.. Even though her eyes tells him volume.

Morever she just did this marriage to get money from him. She is getting it. What does she want now..?

Morever no one can be like Aliya. She left to USA to pursue her modelling career. She wanted to prove herself first and become his wife.

Their relation didn't workout as Aliya become busy in her career. Manik become busy in his own. After 6 months of their long distance relationship. They both broke up. As their time and schedule didn't match with each other.

Nandini wants to show her anger. So she went to her grandma house. Does he even care..? It was a big No.

Although he feels guilty for not coming yesterday.. By apologizing to her.. he didn't want to increase her hope.. He will let it be..

" My dear you are hear..." Grandma engulfed Nandini in her hugged. Nandini couldn't control herself more and starts crying.

" What happened my child..? Did Manik do something tell me..? I will scold him.." Grandma tries to console Nandini..

" No Grandma.. he didn't do anything.. I was just missing you.." Grandma wiped her tears..

" You know you can just come to meet me anytime, my child.." Grandma said.. and Nandini nodded her head.

" So tell me what you will eat.. I will tell my chef to prepare it.. Just look at you.. You have become nore thinner than before.. I will scold Sovita for not feeding you healthy and Manik for not taking care of you. Just let him come hear.." Grandma patted her head. Nandini lay down in Grandma's lap..

Grandma caress her hair.. Nandini falls asleep in her lap. It was heaven for Nandini.

Grandma prefers to stay in ancient home. It has a memory of Grandpa. This home is far from their office. So Manik and Nandini lives in another mansion.

Grandma wake her up for dinner and She herself feed Nandini with her hand. Nandini has a tear in her eyes.

After dinner, Nandini went to her bedroom to sleep and Grandma went to her room..

Nandini couldn't sleep whole night.. She doesn't want to become second version of her mom. She has fear of losing Grandma. As Grandma doesn't know about the truth Manik and her's relationship.

If their relationship truth come out, she may lose Grandma.. who is only a person.. who loves her selflessly.

Neither she wants to become second version of her mother.. She didn't have any idea where to go and what to do anymore.

Whole night these thought eat her mind.
