DYING SUMMER'S [A Yukierre AU Story]

Almost Nightfall

Pierre's Pov

With Pierre and the Japanese soldier, Yuki walking alongside him, with a few hours to go after they arrived at their destination and halfway through Yuki felt tired with Pierre eventually carrying the small japanese at his back while it slept, Pierre never thought he would be nice to an enemy as his Lieutenant said to execute any enemies they saw, Pierre continued walking with the Japanese, encountering a few of his mates but he hide Yuki at those moment's not wanting to endanger his life as after he was a Japanese soldier. When Pierre finally arrived Yuki was still asleep, he brought him to their base camp, not to turn the Japanese in, but to just protect him, as he felt kind of guilty leaving Yuki in the woods alone, he also might teach him English so they could communicate properly with each other and just accompany Pierre as well being separated from his friend, Charles.

Pierre waking up Yuki as he set him down on the ground, the Japanese immediately was confused on where they we're, he looked up at Pierre confusingly and Pierre gestures for him to stay there and Yuki followed, as Pierre entered the base as he would get some material to make Yuki some kind of tent where Yuki could stay while Pierre was in their base, a few minutes got by and the Frenchman was back with parts for a tent, as the two walked a few meters away from the base as Pierre found a hidden spot where he could build Yuki's little tent. Pierre set down the materials and looked over to Yuki and on e again gesturing to have his help and Yuki understand. As the two of them spent their time working after what seemed like hours to the two, it was done and the two entered and sat down with staring at each other, the Japanese softly smiled at Pierre, showing his appreciation to the Frenchman and Pierre smiled, with Pierre felt an spark between them, it was quite weird for him but he ignored it and just viewed Yuki as now found friend.

They spent time by playfully wrestling each other for some random reason with laughter and giggles filled the tent, and with Pierre having to go back inside the camp he waved goodbye to the Japanese, but Yuki hugged him tightly before he left, and Pierre was flabbergasted for a moment before hugging the Japanese back for a minute before Pierre finally left, leaving Yuki now all alone inside the tent and Pierre leaving him some food for Yuki to enjoy.
