4.Wedding

Komal, Sanjeev and Raghav was now looking at Sharma family's members who were drowned in guilt, anxiety and sadness.

"What now Avinash?? Are you going to return the barat without the bride? How we are gonna face all of the people?" Sanjeev said anxiously.

"I'm sorry Sanjeev ji ..... Raghav beta please forgive me.. I didn't knew that she will do something like that." Avinash said folding his hand, his head down in shame.

"It's not your fault Mr. Sharma. You don't have to apologize." Raghav said holding his hand. "But now what to do? It's about reputation of two families.. people will talk ill about Raghav." Komal put her point.

Suraj was looking at his brother and family and he didn't like his brothers head down in shame, so he put a proposal," I have a proposal.. only if you  agree Raghav beta.."

Raghav looked at his parents and then at Suraj silently asking him to continue.

"Marry my daughter Piya.." Suraj dropped the bomb.

Now Raghav and Piya were sitting in front of fire alter... one having anger and frustration while other with guilt and hope for a good life ahead.

Piya had tears in her eyes. She was sitting wearing the bridal dress that her sister was supposed to wear. She was numb, sitting in the Mandap , she was still trying to process the things happening right now.  She was here to enjoy the wedding of her cousin then how come she was sitting as a bride beside the man who was supposed to be her Brother-in-law.

The man was in no better condition but he was collected. He have already decided to accept his fate and fulfill his duty as her husband. In front of holy fire, He promised himself to be her protector all his life.

After some time they took Pheras and Raghav filled Piya's hair partition with vermilion and panditji declared them married for life.

Piya and Raghav get up and touch elders' feet to take their blessings. Suraj had tears in his eyes, he didn't planned his only daughter's marriage like this but it's the condition that forced him to do so.

Piya didn't look at any of her family members. She was very upset how her father ordered her to get marry without even knowing her opinion and her mother didn't stopped him.

It was time to leave for Raghav's home. Everyone came out Suraj hugged Piya but she didn't hugged him back. " I'm sorry baby, please forgive me." He whispered but she didn't respond anything.

Reema also hugged her daughter and said "baby I know it all happened so sudden but please try to give a chance to this marriage, he is a very nice man, he will take care of you." But Piya said nothing just looked at her blankly.

Raghav opened car door for her and she sat in without even looking at her family . He sighed and closed the door.

Suraj and Reema came to him, " Please take care of her. Maybe she behave bad and stubborn for which I already apologise you but please give her sometime. She is our princess." Suraj said joining his hand.

Raghav hold his hand and said " don't worry uncle she is my wife now I will try to understand her and do whatever make her comfortable and happy, please don't worry."

"Yes Suraj, we are not taking her as our daughter in law but as our daughter. We assure you to take care of her." Sanjeev said to them.

Raghav sat in car from other side with Sanjeev and Komal in another car. They leave towards their house. Raghav look toward Piya only to find her looking blankly at nothing particular. He didn't said anything.

They reached at house and Komal welcome both of them with arti. Piya just followed every instruction without saying a word and when finally Komal escorted her to the bed room she break down.

Piya's POV

Why?? Why didn't they thought about me once? Didn't they loved me? Was I a burden to them that they just married me off without even considering that if I want it or not?

I hate them... I hate everyone....I hate my fate..

I cried and cried until I heard door opening and my so called husband came inside. I suddenly remembered that this is our first night and I was shuddered.

Will he force himself on me if I deny for intimacy? No I will not let that happen I will kick his balls if tried anything. I was just looking down when he took steps forward.

As if he heard my thoughts he said making me flinch, " Don't worry Piya, I will never touch you without your permission, for me your comfort first. Please fresh up and sleep on the bed I will take couch."

Is he pretending to be nice with me?? Cause if he is that nice why didn't he denied marry his fiancé's sister who is 6 years younger than him.

Anger build up in me and I said harshly, " As if I will let you touch me. Remember Mr. Raghav Pandey it doesn't matter if we are married, don't expect anything from me."

I saw a glint of hurt in his eyes for a sec before it dissapeared. I just looked at him for another second and took my clothes from my bag and headed to bathroom.

Raghav POV

I was hurt when she said not to expect anything from her when I whole heartily accepted her as my wife. But I can understand.

She is just a young girl with a lot of ambitions and alot happened so suddenly that she never expected to happen in her wildest dream.

It's okay I'll give her all the time and space she needs and will stand with her, encourage her for her dreams. I hope she understands that I'm not any obstacle between her liberty and dreams, I'm her partner.

All that happen was also too much for me but now when I have taken her as my wife, my other half , I won't back from my responsibility.

Maybe love could make it's way someday........
