Chapter 16.

Derek's POV

"You lied to me" I called out as I rushed into India's hospital room. She was sittin up in bed speaking with her sister. She stopped talking and looked over to me.

"What?" she asked in a confused tone.

I acknowledged her sister in the room then walked close to her sitting on the side edge of her bed to proceed.

"You acted as if you didn't know you were pregnant but you did, Jayceon knew, so you did too. You lied" I told her through gritted teeth.

She was in shock once again and tears ran from her eyes. Her sister got up and I put an arm up to stop her. Crystal stopped dead in her tracks.

"I trusted you India. What else are you hiding from me mama? I can't help you if you make lies" I told her with a serious tone.

"Go on, tell him. Tell him that WE found out 2 weeks ago that you were pregnant with Games baby." Crystal spoke out with strain in her voice. I turned my cheek to her so she could know I was listening

"Tell him that Game raped you. You were only 19 right? Yeah you were over 18 but in my eyes you're still a minor. Tell him how many times that you came home with bruises!" Crystal now was saying with tears in her eyes

"Sissy stop" India pleaded softly

"No! I love you India but I can't keep covering for you. I can't keep lying for you." Crystal stressed

I got up from sitting and closed the door as it was getting personal and too much noise was going on in the halls. I motioned for Crystal to re take her seat but she refused and wanted to stand. I got her a box of Kleenex.

"I didn't tell him! I don't know how he knew. Before he dropped me off here he told me he would never forgive me. He was really upset with me for not telling him. but how did he know?" India looked up at me gazing into my eyes hoping I'd have the answer but I didn't. She then looked over at her sister searching for answers but she still was looking down and to the side patting her wet eyes with tissue.

"We loved each other" she said "so I thought" she said with doubt in her voice

"He loves you ma. He was refusing arrest and just wanted to know if we saved his seed. I told him no and he ... he became compliant" I told her

She sat there quietly thinking for a moment

"I wanna see him. Can I talk to him?" she asked

I wanted to flat out tell her no. I mean, this is the guy that just kidnapped her. But I sighed instead and looked at her for awhile.

"You really want to?" I asked her. She nodded.

"Ok" I answered turning to walk out the door to find Hotch
