In the hushed ambiance of the organization's conference room, Mr. Nawat stood before Engfa Waraha and Charlotte Austin, his demeanor serious, yet tinged with a hint of anticipation. Engfa and Charlotte sat across from him, an awkward tension hanging in the air, a stark contrast to the grandeur of their surroundings.

"Engfa, Charlotte," Mr. Nawat began, his voice cutting through the silence, "I have a proposal that may interest both of you."

Engfa shifted uncomfortably in her seat, avoiding Charlotte's gaze. Their once effortless camaraderie had dissolved into an awkwardness that seemed to suffuse every interaction since their parting.

"As you're aware," Mr. Nawat continued, "your individual talents have brought great acclaim to our organization. Charlotte, your elegance and charm have enraptured audiences worldwide, and Engfa, your musical prowess has garnered admiration from fans across the globe."

Engfa nodded, her gaze fixed on a spot on the table as she struggled to contain the flood of memories that threatened to overwhelm her.

"Now, I believe it's time to continue the same avenues for your talents," Mr. Nawat declared, his tone filled with a sense of purpose. "I propose a grand concert tour across the United States—a chance for Englot to not only showcase your individual talents but also to reignite the spark that once made you such a captivating duo."

Engfa's heart clenched at the mention of Englot—the nickname that had once symbolized everything they were together. She stole a glance at Charlotte, whose eyes mirrored her own mix of apprehension and discomfort.

"The Grand Concert Engfa x Charlotte," Mr. Nawat announced, his voice resolute. "It will be more than just a series of performances—it will be an opportunity for both of you to confront your past and redefine your future."

Engfa felt a wave of uncertainty washing over her—could she truly face Charlotte again after all that had transpired between them? The weight of their unresolved history hung heavy in the air, casting a shadow over Mr. Nawat's words.

Charlotte cleared her throat, breaking the tense silence that had settled between them. "We'll... consider your proposal," she said, her voice betraying none of the turmoil that Engfa knew lay beneath the surface.

As Mr. Nawat nodded in understanding, Engfa and Charlotte exchanged a fleeting glance, their eyes betraying a multitude of unspoken emotions. And as they left the conference room, each lost in their own thoughts, they knew that this tour would be more than just a chance to showcase their talents—it would be an opportunity to confront the ghosts of their past and, perhaps, find a way to move forward.

Few weeks later..

Engfa Waraha stood before the mirror in the dimly lit rehearsal studio, her reflection a stark reminder of the woman she once was—the woman who had once stood beside Charlotte Austin, her heart brimming with love and hope.

As she adjusted the strap of her gown, the door creaked open, and Charlotte stepped into the room, her presence sending a jolt of discomfort coursing through Engfa's veins.

"Hey," Charlotte said softly, her voice tentative, as if unsure of how Engfa would react.

Engfa forced a smile, though it felt stiff and forced. "Hey," she replied, her tone lacking its usual warmth.

Silence lingered between them, heavy with the weight of their shared history, before Charlotte spoke again.

"I wanted to apologize," Charlotte began, her words hesitant. "For everything that happened between us."

Engfa's heart clenched at the sincerity in Charlotte's voice, but she couldn't bring herself to meet her gaze. "It's fine," she replied, her voice clipped and distant.
