Derek stood in the balcony and frowned. He had questioned the boy who had been with Edith during the plant growing mission. He was the one who had handed her the drink. But the boy knew nothing, he couldn't figure out what was the driving force behind the death of Edith and him.

His thoughts were interrupted when Trix entered the study. He saw the woman giving him a cold stare. For some reason though master had asked her to help him, Derek felt something was not quite right with this female commander.

"What is it Trix?" he asked not trying to hide his annoyance. Beatrice remained composed "Your majesty, Prince Jock was the one behind the poisoning incident."

Derek didn't seem surprised "So what evidence do you have?"

"The boy confessed. Whay do you plan to do your majesty?"

He continued to view the garden as his thoughts lingered in silence "Nothing for now Trix. You may leave."

Beatrice's eyes widened "Nothing? But the Queen was harmed, do you not plan to take action?"

Derek sighed "But I don't know where Jock is so how can I take action?"

His question sounded a bit ridiculous but it was enough for Beatrice to see he wasn't entirely disregarding "I am sure we will find him. I will let you know soon, your majesty."

Alone in his study Derek rested in his armchair "Looks like I am getting closer to him. Coming here was not in vain."

      -------------------------------------------------

"Ada," a voice from her memories stirred in her heart.
A figure approached her, he was quite the same though slightly aged. His blond hair with white flecks of light and the unshaven face with a short beard. He was still as tall and fine looking.
Tears rose to her eyes, blurring her vision in front. A hand wiped the flowing down her cheek. "My dear, is it you? Is it you Alfonzo?"

In a second she was in his arms crying out her heart. All those years of pain and solitude pouring out from her tears. She had thought he was dead sometimes she lived hoping he was alive. There was not a moment the indescribable pain in her heart lessened. All the time as she faced the enemy who forcefully trapped her within these walls, the goal of revenge prevented her from losing her mind.
It would all end now. He was here and she was right in his arms.

"I am sorry Ada, Sorry it took so long."

"You must never leave me again. You must promise and give me proof."

Alfonzo the great sage of illusion comforted his beloved. He had been a victim of the endless schemes of his Regal family and suffered a few lives in their torture. When he had met Ada in his previous life and this life, he resolved to live. This time he wouldn't be making the same mistakes.

"I know Ada, it won't happen again. This time all ends for good and...I also have some news."

He leant down to kiss her head and she stared into his eyes wondering about the secret. He whispered something to her ear and she gasped and her eyes softened.

"Then she really is..."

"Yes, I have already handed the matters to her husband. Now it is upto them to face Renald and his son."

"But what about you? What do you plan to do?"

Alfonzo swiped back the hair from her eyes. His real appearance hasn't aged much at all. "I plan to help King of Zeda as much as I can but still Renald must not know I am alive. I'll come back again for sure this time."

Ada pouted "I hate you. Why do you have to leave again?"

Alfonzo kissed her and held her face "My dear, we must end this soon. You know even if we stay in hiding our lives are at stake. By facing off in the battle only, I can be rid of all those shackles. And we also have to find who is doing these behind the scenes."

Ada sat by the window and gazed at the moon. A maid came to her and laid down the tray of tea.
" Your majesty, the tea is ready. I am glad you are not drinking wine today."

"I have no reason to drink wine anymore," smiled Ada "It is a beautiful moon."

His majesty King Renald drank the wine and chuckled "Amazing, isn't it Basil?"

The figure in front of him exuded a cold gaze as reply making his majesty laugh "You are really no fun. How does it feel to know we almost failed our plans? Countess Tori would have exposed me and her foolishness for Whittling is what made her quite useful."

"Your majesty, I was not careful enough."

"It's fine you took care of her quickly. Just, I want to know what your son is upto? He is creating quite a havoc, I heard."

"I have sent men to keep an eye on him. But it is not easy to evade Zeda kingdom now."

"Ah but we have a stronger army. I believe you can take care of it. Besides my son is becoming quite useless. I used him to get at Derek but he seems to be chasing after the Roster girl. The Roster support is not something I am currently seeking."

"Prince Edgar is still the heir. Do you intend on changing him?"

His majesty smiled "I don't think he will wait for that."

"Is that so, father?" Edgar came into the study as the doors flew open. King Renald glared at him in displeasure "What are you doing? Who do you think you are?"

"Did you have fun? I think this place is mine now. I'll let you go swiftly since my mother begged me to take good care of you though you left her........ to die."

"What nonsense? Guards! Seize him. Basilisk-"

King Renald held onto his bleeding throat and horror struck his eyes as he stared at the hand that harmed him. Basilisk sheathed the Bloody sword in his hand and bowed "Farewell, your majesty. It is time for a new reign."

Edgar laughed and Renald collapsed to the floor realizing he had underestimated his son "Thank you Father, I will now show you what I am capable of and everything will go my way now."

Basilisk followed Edgar outside while the guards walked into clean the room.

"What's the news?"

"Derek plans to start to mine the magic ore. If we can stop him then it will be a distraction to send our army secretly."

"Good. You know after we succeed bring young Lady Roster to me unharmed. You can take care of the others especially Cory and Derek, kill them if you can."

"It will be as you wish your majesty."

Edgar smiled proudly "I love hearing it more than I thought. This should be celebrated."

The servants and guards around them heard the words and immediately kneeled and bowed "Long live your majesty, the light of Waze! Long live and Prosper! Long live and Prosper!"
