Chapter 16

Gold's POV
The rest of the week was fine other than that other stuff that happened on Saturday with the whole argument. I don't think they got Alec to believe that magic wasn't real. I don't know what he's going to do now. Maybe he's onto us. Hope not to be honest. I don't trust him like I used to.

Anyway today was a meeting because Draco forgot to tell us something after the whole argument but never got to it and he said it was very important. So we were meeting at our dorm again. So I was cleaning up the dorm while Funneh was being a couch potato.

I heard a knock on the door. I answered it and it was Draco, Evan, and Kyran. "Hey guys!" I said. "What's up!" Evan did a Shaka. They came in and sat down next to Funneh who was watching cartoons. I closed the door. "Is Rainbow coming?" I asked. "Nah she said she was busy talking to Angel," Draco said. "Who's Angel by the way?" Funneh asked. "Some girl filling Lunar's place, for now," he said. "Kk," Funneh said.

I sat down on the couch as well and turned off the TV. "Hey, I was watching that" Funneh sat up. "Well this is a meeting because we're a part of this now," I said. "Go ahead Draco," I continued.

"So I got another note, I didn't see a ghost though, but this one has words," Draco said. "What does it say?" I asked. He pulled the yellow piece of paper out of his pocket to read. "It reads, if you want her back you have to give a life or she will be that life," he stated. "What?!" Evan said. "Calm down, okay this is definitely from Celeste, maybe we can trick her or something so we don't have to give her anything," Funneh said. "Maybe, but she has magic now we can't really do anything," Draco said.

"So who's life?" Funneh asked like she didn't care. We looked at her. "Bruh," Evan said. "What? Let's be prepared, who wants to be decoy?" Funneh said. "I vote Funneh because of that," Evan raises his hand. Everyone laughed but Funneh and raised their hand including me. "Wow, fine I'll be decoy," Funneh said. We all laughed.

"So what's the plan?" Kyran asked. "I'm not really sure," Draco said. "Can I see it?" Kyran asked. "Yeah sure," Draco said. Draco leaned over to Kyran and handed him the note. Kyran was looking at it for a while.  "Find anything?" Draco asked. "Nope but their blood stains on the back," Kyran said. "Oh yeah I forgot about that," Draco said.

"Wait Kyran. Remember you could find out who's blood it was when you were trying to see if the blood was Momo's?" I asked. "Yeah I could do that but I need something of Lunar's like a hair strand or something like that," Kyran said. "I bet there's a hair strand on her pillow," Evan said. "Okay, Kyran set it up I'll go get some hair," Draco said running out of the house.

Funneh's POV
Kyran went to his dorm to get the stuff for the experiment. "Gold," I said. "Hmm?" She said. "Don't burn it," I joked. "Shut up!" She said. "Huh?" Evan asked. We explained the joke to him. "That's dark," Evan said. "It kind of is," I laughed. "No!! That is dark," Gold said. Evan and I laughed.

They both got back around the same time. "Find one?" Kyran asked. "Yep!" Draco holding up a blue hair strand. Kyran cut off part of the note as he boiled the liquids on the stove. He dropped the piece of paper in. He started to do needy science things over there. Evan was pacing. He hasn't even known her long enough either.

I watched Kyran as he waited. "Yeah it's hers," Kyran finally said. "Okay we need to find her quickly I hope she's not dead," Draco said. "They'd probably torture her instead of killing her," Kyran said. "No don't say that!" Gold said. She had her hands over her ears. I sat back down next to her. I didn't even know I was pacing either. I put my arms around her.

Kyran sat on the other side of her resting his hand on her shoulder. I saw Draco calling someone. Was it Rainbow? "Who are you calling?" Evan noticed too. "Other agents including Rainbow," Draco said. "Alright," Evan said. "Guys come sit down," I said. They did but Evan was irritably shaking his leg. Up and down it went and sometimes made a pounding sound which made some of us jump each time.

"Okay I've got to go, unfortunately," Draco said. "Why?" I asked. "I have to go do my job," Draco said. "You guys can look at the notes we've collected," Draco handed Kyran the notes to inspect. "Bye," he said under his breath. He left without saying anything else.

We sat there in silence for a long while. "Should we look at these or do something else?" Kyran asked. "Let's look," Evan said immediately. "Okay," Kyran said spreading all the notes on the table including the one Gold got that one night. I leaned forward to look at them. Gold leaned back into the couch being stubborn. "C'mon Gold if we figure this out it can all end and we can get Lunar back!" I said. "I know, but it's going to be hard," she said digging her face into one of the couch pillows. "It'll be okay we're doing this together!" Kyran said. Gold looked at him, "okay," she said. She blushed. I smiled.

Gold sat up and rearranged them to I think the order they came in. "What does this one mean?" Evan asked. He pointed to the one with the fire, the building, and the handcuffs. "I don't think Draco figured that out but it looks like a warning and something really bad," I said. "Yeah it does," Evan said.
