Chp-18: Prediction

Alexa was trembling as what she saw was horrific, terrifying, and frightening. Taurus yelled, " Train our army for the war! Prepare all the weapons, the best ones! And bring all the healthy men from Azeron!" The guards nodded and rushed to the door to the right of Taurus's throne. He moved closer to Alexa and said in a low, stern tone, " You are going to tell me all the predictions you'll see! And don't you dare to act over-smart by informing all this to Cady! If you do so then I'll kill you, your sister, and her new friend Harry!" Alexa's eyes were filled with hatred and she wanted to punch him, but she didn't as it would get her in great trouble. Taurus looked towards Shifter and said, " Take this little bird to the cellar upstairs! Don't let her and Cady meet!" Shifter nodded, took the books from her hand, looked at the soldier at his right, and handed it to him. The soldier went downstairs, and Alexa understood that Cady was downstairs. Shifter held her arm and pulled her.

As they were climbing up the stairs, Alexa was coming up with a plan of how to reach Cady. They were soon standing in front of a metal door which was pushed open by the watch guard standing towards the left of the door. Shifter let go of her arm and walked inside. Alexa followed him and in front of a wooden door, Shifter stood still. Alexa's eyes widened as she thought it would be easy for her to break this door open. He opened it up and Alexa found out that there was a metal door inside. She asked, " Why put a wooden door when there is a metal door?" Shifter answered, " The prisoners would get some hope by looking at the wooden door but the metal door would kill their sense of hope. Taurus loves to watch people suffer, watch them getting their hearts broken." The watch guard shouted, " You two speak another word, then I'll send this little curious bird to the worst cellar and you, Shifter! You would be killed. Lord Taurus is already suspecting you a lot!" Alexa mumbled, " Lord! He is lord, huh!" The metal door opened and Alexa found a broken bed, a dresser table, and a sought study table, she wasn't able to figure out whether it was a study table or just a broken table. Shifter looked at her and thought to himself ' This girl would create a problem..' Shifter walked out of the room. The soldier looked at Shifter, held his arm, and said, "Don't you dare act over-smart." He then released him and closed the door.

Alexa sat there all alone, thinking of plans to escape this cellar. Subconsciously she knew there was no way she would be able to escape this rotting cellar. The one thing that feared her the most was the war that was about to begin between Taurus and Cady. And the worst part was Cady being unaware of the war, the greatest war of all time. Alexa lay down on the bed and stared at the ceiling blankly. She took a deep breath and sighed. The room was so quiet that even her sigh echoed throughout the room. Alexa closed her eyes and prayed for Cady, as it was all she could do.
