Chp-20: The Meet

Harry and Cady followed the directions given by Bob to get out of the castle. After tiptoeing and being careful, they were finally out of the castle. Harry took a deep breath and said, "It feels so good to be finally out of that dark prison and see the sky and feel the warmth of the sunlight." Cady nodded and said, "But, we can't stay here much longer...we should better get going." Harry looked around and began to walk, and Cady followed him. Suddenly they heard a man shouting, "Hey! You two! Stop right there, don't you dare move!" The voice of the man was coming from right behind them. Harry and Cady looked at each other and turned behind, only to find a soldier holding a gun. Cady and Harry wrapped their hands around their swords' handles and took a deep breath. The soldier shouted, "How did you two manage to get out?" Harry said, "Well...we are in the Imaginarium...we've got to learn how to fight, right Cady?" they both took out their swords swiftly and pointed them toward the soldier. The soldier tried to fire the gun but failed. He was surprised and tried it many times but it didn't fire. He pointed it toward him and fired again, but this time, it shot him. His body fell on the ground with a thud and Cady gasped. Harry dropped his sword and covered her mouth. He said in a low tone, "Shsh! You'll get us caught!" Cady frowned, removed his hand, and said, "Look who's talking! The one who was shouting my name when we were in the prison!" Harry said in a stern tone, "I did not shout your name! But, who did this?" Someone tapped on Harry's shoulder and said, "Me" Cady and Harry turned behind and were shocked. Tears filled Cady's eyes and she began to sob. It was Liam. He hugged her tightly. Liam said, "Well...this young lad is right...you will get us caught!" Cady chuckled and Harry said, "I'm sorry sir.." Liam looked at him with a confused expression and said, "Why are you saying sorry? Don't say sorry.." a tear dropped from Liam's eye and he wiped it off. Cady moved back and asked, "Where were you this entire time? You left me!" Liam looked down with guilt and regret. He said, "I got stuck here, I'm sorry... very sorry... god, you have grown tall and, and you look so mature.." He smiled while gently touching her cheeks. Liam asked, "Where did you two plan to go?" Cady replied, "To the King's Quandary" Liam's eyes widened, before he could say anything Cady said, "Harry knew you were there and so he decided we should go there and rescue you." Liam looked at Harry and said, "Harry...huh.." Harry asked, "What happened, sir?" Liam nodded. They stood there quietly with tears still flowing down the cheeks of Liam and Cady. Liam said breaking the silence, "We should better leave.." Harry picked up his sword and Liam took the gun from the soldier. The three of them ran as fast as they could and finally were standing in front of the gate. Cady asked, "Why are there no soldiers here?" Liam pointed towards him meaning that he had killed them. The three of them were finally out of the castle and its premises. Liam said, "I'm going to explain to you in short- I was trapped in the King's Quandary and I ran from there and came to rescue you as I heard two soldiers talking about you and how you are stuck inside the prison. I stopped the gun from shooting you two and made it fire on the soldier. Yes, I have my powers. As soon as I got out of the King's Quandary, I got my powers back. Now, you'll ask how I got out of that dangerous prison, well, it was tough, I got a cut on my left arm but I came in one piece, at least. We are going to go to Millers and Co. and get all the essential weapons. We have to fight Taurus. But, it's either going to be me, you, Harry, and Alexa against Taurus and his huge army or just you and Taurus. By the way, Alexa is going to stay here and observe everything. We are going to go and get weapons and defeat Taurus. You can do this Cady, just believe in yourself.." Cady was shocked, she felt fear run through her veins. She couldn't believe the fact that she had to fight a war with Taurus.
