The clock ticked past 5:00 PM, and Hannah realized with a jolt that she had less than two hours to get ready for the party. She glanced at the invitation resting on her kitchen bedroom table, the golden letters shimmering under the fading sunlight. This wasn't just any party—it was My Parents Wedding Anniversary as they have been married for quite long...of course.
Hannah's P.O.V (You):
I was in my Room as my Best Friend Aria was picking out dresses from my wardrobe as I was not the best person when it comes to Fashion.
Aria picked a frock from my wardrobe which I don't remember buying.
"Try this out, it might look pretty"
Aria said to me, I was staring at the dress. It looked kinda pretty as it was a black frock, an inch up my knee's and had a Dior logo on it.
"I don't remember buying this Tho" I said as I took the dress from Aria's Hand.
"You idiot, I bought this for your birthday 2 years ago" Aria said and smacked my forehead lightly that's when it clicked on to me, I smiled stupidly at her and ran to my bathroom to change.
It took me 6 minutes to change and I opened the door and I walked to the mirror and stood Infront of the mirror looking at the pretty dress. My bestie looked up from her phone and came towards me and stood beside me and looked at me from the mirror.
"Maybe this is your sign to wear dresses to work rather than suits" Aria said to me.
"I still prefer suits, its much comfortable" I said to Aria as no way I'm wearing a dress to work.
"whatever, the party is in 2 hours and it takes 1 hour to reach at your parents place" Aria said as I had only 30 minutes to get ready.
"Yeah, but what footwear would suit me? Please not a heel, I can't walk in those" I said to Aria as I begged.
"But Heel's are much prettier!" Aria said to me as I sighed.
"Oh come on, The last time you made me wear heels for my cousins b'day, I ended up tripping on the heels and fell on a person, I'm never wearing those...the embarrassment still haunts me" I said to Aria as I was not wearing heels.
"Fine" Aria said as she took out a small black boot and told me to wear it, I wore it as its much comfortable than heels.
"I'm heading out, I don't want to be late" I said and waved Aria Goodbye and Got in my car and drove off to the Party.
I was Driving and I stopped to a Red Light and I checked my watch as I only had 20 minutes to reach there.
"Oh shit, I can't be late!" I said in the car, As I was waiting for the Traffic Light to Turn Green.
"Come on, what's taking so long?" I said to myself.
After a Few Minutes, The light turned Green and I drove fast to reach there on time.
After 15 Minutes, I reached My parents Mansion where the Party was held.
