Ring!..

          Ring!...

                       Rin!-...

I slammed my hand against my alarm, shutting it off. A yawn escaped my lips as I began to stretch. "Raphaela! Raphaela!" My friend Annie barged in. I flinched and yelped "Fuck Anns! Can't keep barging into my dorm like that..." I sighed. "Sorryyyy- But aren't you excited!? Prom is coming up!" Annie smiled. What a cheerful girl. "Mhm.." I tie my hair up into a bun, like I usually do. Annie sighed. "I know Prom ain't your thing, but can you PLEASE be a little more excited?" She mumbles as walks towards my bed. I sigh. "Anns, It's just gonna be like every other year. Some person does this over dramatic intro just to ask some other person out to prom, we dance, we vote for who is prom king & queen, which obviously would be one of the Pops' (popular girls). Then we go back to our dorms, lastly back to our normal lives." I groan loudly and slam my body against my fluffy bed mattress. "No offense Raphs' but, you're pretty boring." Annie mumbles quietly, playing with my mattress' fur. "Thanks." My voice gets muffled by my blanket over my face. I didn't care if I was boring to her, My life is nice being "boring". Annie whines extremely loudly, like a child who didn't get what they wanted. "Please Raphs'! You can't miss out on this year's prom again!" Annie shakes me aggressively. My hair is getting messier and messier. I began to get annoyed. "Annie. I'm gonna be so honest right now. Prom. It will never be my thing. The annoying romance that fills the room is just so" I make a loud and forced gag noise. "It's disgusting Anns." I sigh, so does Annie. She looks down, disappointed that she didn't get to make me come. Once again.

I felt guilty. I took a deep breath and sighed. "Fine." I mumble. Annie looks up with bright sparkling eyes. "Really!?" She exclaims. I nod, I might regret this but whatever. "Yayy!" Her loud squeal rings in my ears. "Now c'mon. Let's go and get ready for school." I stand up, She jumps off my bed and runs to her side of the room to get ready for school. I went to my closet, grabbed some clothes and walked into the bathroom. I heard her humming, giggling and squealing the whole time I got myself ready. I placed on a black collared cropped t-shirt, a tan long bodycon skirt, black leggings, and black mary jane platform shoes. I hummed in satisfaction and walked out of the bathroom, checking what Ann was wearing. Ann was wearing somewhat the same, just pastel; Sky pink collared cropped t-shirt, A baby blue long bodycon skirt, white fishnet leggings, and sky blue mary jane platform shoes Me and her always match outfits. Just not the same colors. She thinks dark colors are just "sorrowful". "Bright." I mutter. "I know right!? Isn't it cute?" Ann giggles happily as she swings her body around. "Mhm." I nod, I honestly hate the bright colors but it suits her anyways. "You should really tr-" "No." I interrupt her, I know she's gonna tell me that I should try her clothing on, but it's too bright for me. Way too bright. "Aw man." Annie sighs. I look at the clock. 6:59. We're almost late. "Annie, get your bookbag and let's use that energy of yours to walk to school." I command, as if I'm a queen and she's my page. Ann just laughs and nods, throwing her bag onto her back. I grab my backpack and hang it on one shoulder. We walked downstairs and I swung the door open. Thank god Silver High is just 10 minutes away. The whole time I walked with Ann, she was just jumping up and down, skipping around, singing, and bragging about how the pops' love her and are so sweet to her. Yuck, Popular girls. They're only sweet to her because SHE'S popular. If she loses her popularity, they'll treat her like trash just like they all do to me.

We arrived at school, and sadly; The Popular Girls were there to greet me with a tease. "Oh no.." I groan. "Oh my god!" Ann squeals. "Annie!" Allie sings with a smirk. "How about you go with Ivy so I can talk to your... friend." Allie hums as she scoots Ann away from me and towards Ivy "C'mon girl, lets go talk about.. Uhm... Anything!" "But- I-" Annie stammers trying to decline the offer as Ivy pushes her farther away from me. "Well... Well.. Well." Allie repeats. I groan in annoyance and roll my eyes. "I'm surprised you still arrive at school, but at the same time. I couldn't care less." Allie laughs, as if she did something. "Y'know Allie. You can't keep that hypocritical sweet, caring, and all cutesy personality with Annie, I know you're annoyed with her presence." I say sternly. "Awwhh, are you trying to protect your friend?" Heather butts in. Then a chime was heard from Allie's phone, She checks her phone and bursts out laughing. "No way! You!? Going to prom!?" Allie continues to laugh, Heather laughs with her. Damnnit. I should've never said yes. "No one likes you Raphaela, and if someone did-" Allie leans in. "It'd be a joke." She whispers. "Anyways, I gotta catch a hot jock. How do I look Heather? Oh wait- I can answer it myself. Gorgeous!~" Allie and Heather laugh. "If you ever think anyone will be interested in asking you out to prom. Think again, dunce face." Heather crosses her arms and laughs. Walking off with Allie. I just roll my eyes and put all my belongings in my locker. The bell rings loudly and all of the students go to their classrooms. I walk to my classroom. The 'hot jock' Allie was trying to talk to is in my class, Miguel Rodriguez. A Popular Junior boy. He's known to be; 'Attractive', Famous on social media, plays almost every sport that makes him look 'attractive' because he wants to for fame or something else but in my opinion; His brown fluffy hair just makes him look stupid and soft. Even though he's absolutely muscular. He still looks like a soft person. The only thing I find attractive about him is his voice. That's literally it. His deep monotone voice. I sat down on my chair as Mrs.Sarah began to teach about History. She started talking about Pocahontas, Jamestown, Captain John Smith, Reverend Hunt, etc

We sat in class, taking notes, doing the usual boring things. Hours passed and the bell rang loudly. The students and I packed up our belongings and walked out of the classroom. I waved goodbye to Mrs.Sarah and she returned the wave. I just walked off and went to my other class. Which luckily was with Annie. This day will be alright. I hope.
