The puppy is sad, and the girl doesn't move. Her lupus ears twitch, reminding everyone that she is not dead–yet. It's Jeaxper who steps up first, extending her sharpened nails, and wings popping out of the slits on her back.
"Oh~ a little Fae can kill dear Ambrosius?" I assume he's talking about himself, taunting her in the third-person. But when Armin stomps forward, the vine tattoos on his arms extend off, branching into real vines and they jump from the ground and back up again, launching for Armin's face.
However, in perfect time, a tree is hurled into Ambrosius, knocking him unconscious and to the ground. Before rushing toward the other two myself, Nova, who threw the tree, transforms back and bites at one of their sides. While I tackle the other, and when staring at the face, I can't make out a boy or a girl. A fight ensues between the four of us, mainly consisting of the other rolling us over and punching us in the face, and visa-versa. This ends soon, as without knowing, Jeaxper has flown over to me and tossed one into the air. She flies back up to the Incubus, and throws him up more.
Entranced by this, I don't notice when the female(?) hurls into me. But I'm hungry, and extend the two inch fangs out of my upper gums, and finally crunch down on her shoulder. Drool and blood mix together, as I roll her over and realize how much I starve. The slits on my fingertips push out claws, once I grip my hands on her chest.
Humans never tasted the same as monsters, always so bland. They never had the spice that monsters have due to powers, though we ate them the most anyway, as they're the evil ones. This one tastes of pomegranate, but the sweetness replaced by the spice of her own lust.
I'm knocked gently, with my head hitting the ground, and look up to see Sueki doing the same thing. Eating. So I join him again, pulling myself off her chest, and rip open the skin, delving for the stomach and intestines. Once Sueki came over, she finally stopped the incessant screaming, trying to pry me off of her, even though she knew it wouldn't help.
I couldn't tell the sounds we were making had frightened the others, but Jeaxper has to pry me away from the body, Nova pulling Sueki away as well. And when I turn my head up, we connect eye-contact, and my heart rate dies down from the adrenaline. I've stopped drooling too, and when she leans down to my height, puts her hand on my head.
"You ate your leg." The dizziness clears, and I realize how hungry I really was. I hadn't had proper food in so long, and due to all the journeys, the energy from the two guards back at the hospital hadn't been enough. Jeaxper lets go of my arms, and I let them flop to the grass. While trying to gather my thoughts, and calming myself down, Sueki puts a hand on my hair, and starts to pet while he uses his other hand to reinstate my left leg. The way he put his hand on my head was different then when Jeaxper did it, that terrible pit swelling up inside.
The drool from his mouth drips onto my now naked leg, and Jeaxper has to manually close his jaw. When he stands up, Jeaxper is there to help me up, and I grip her hand tightly.
"Where's Ambrosius and the other one?" I almost yell, and Nova tries to reassure me.
"They must have ran off, but we still have the chest." Maybe.
But when I look over for Jeaxper, she's digging through the little bit of sand next to the pond, with her nails extended out into claws once again. The more I look, there's a brown under all the yellow, and it chips at her nails, causing them to retract. Nova stands up from afar, and the two carry the case from out of the hole, and on top of the ripped apart Succubus body. The body is barely recognisable, hair ripped off, eyes missing, chewed up intestines spilling to the side, and limbs falling off. The box makes a splat sound once set on top of the body, and blood squirts out from all sides.
