Thanking Yuki as he set down her last bag onto her dresser, she watched as he looked around her side of the room. It was different. Instead of the once plain wall, she had decorated it with pictures of her and her friends and a few of her and Tohru as children. He also found that she had tucked a tiny rat plushie under her blanket. He smiled at her belongings before he noticed an envelope with a familiar green star sticker keeping it shut. It couldn't be? Was it..?
"Thank you for waking up so early and getting my stuff for me. I probably should have gotten it before we came home yesterday but..." She trailed off, noticing his gaze on the envelope. "Yuki?" The boy looked back at her with a hum. "Is everything okay?" He cleared his throat and nodded. "Uhh, yes. It's just.." He looked back at the green star. "Where is that from?" She gave him a smile. Her eyes slid from him, to where his finger pointed, and smiled.
He stared at her watching as a red hue filled her cheeks. It was beautiful. She was beautiful, He thought. He wished he could see her like this everyday.
Walking closer to the letter, she held it gently. "It was a letter from a boy last year." A boy? She doesn't know..? "It was the first letter I received that wasn't just asking me out with those meaningless words. It was written with love. That's one of the reasons why I've kept it all these years." She peeled the sticker off, her eyes held something he couldn't decipher. But the heat he felt rise to his cheeks was unmistakable. She kept his letter? She unfolded the letter revealing his messy handwriting. He had been shaking when he wrote it. Each word he had written was true, but he was worried it wasn't enough for her. "My favorite part is this." She turned the letter around, pointing at a sentence that he remembered all to well.
"I love how beautiful your eyes shine, even with that powerful glare of yours, you still seem so kind." She read it aloud. He looked up and found her shyly looking down at the paper. "I've always hated my eyes." Yuki stared at her, waiting for her to continue as she paused. She bit her lip and looked up at him. "I'm sorry for always glaring at you. I can't seem to help it. I don't even realize it happening. But I really am sorry." He tilted his head, grinning at how silly her words were. "I think your eyes are the most beautiful feature you hold. Your glare only seems to add to it." His words made her smile.
Her brows furrowed, wondering why his words had such an affect on her, but she was glad he wasn't upset.
"I see you've settled in nicely." He said gesturing to her belongings. Y/n nodded, looking over at her pictures. "Yes. I guess I finally feel safe enough to call this place my home." Yuki shuffled closer to her, his fingers wrapping around hers. She felt his hand tremble in hers slightly and she quickly tightened her hold on it. "Yuki." He tilted his head to look at her, his lips resting in a comfortable smile. "Yes?" Standing on her tippy-toes, she placed a peck on his cheek, smiling as she noticed the lipstick print she had left when she backed away. "I'm really glad I met you."
"Me too."
"Vice Prez! You're so pretty!"
"I believe the term is handsome." Makoto said, staring at the girl with a blush.
In the student council room, Y/n stood in a suit and tie with her hair in a tight bun. Originally it was to attract women to their classroom, but after hearing about Yuki's job, she thought she should help him out. "I look ridiculous.." She looked down at her outfit, embarrassed. "No, you look cute." Dena smiled. She was the one to bring the suit for Y/n so Makoto allowed her in. The suit was from her brother who was very strict with his clothing. From what Dena said, he's only ever worn suits his entire life.
A thankful smile made its way to her face as she bowed to her friend.
Entering the classroom, it felt as if everyone had been staring at her. The headstrong Student Vice president wearing such a ridiculous outfit for all to see. It was practically a gold mine for those who were out to get her. Sucking in a deep breath, she gave everyone a polite smile and walked over to Yuki who had originally been crowded before she got there. "Y/n? What are you wearing?" His sentence caused her smile to falter for a second before she regained her composure. "Well, I thought I might as well complete your look. Do I look bad?" Y/n was never one to worry that much about her looks. This was weird for her. He shook his head, scratching his wrist as he blushed. "You look good." He said before the two were crowded by fan club members.
