Chapter 5

When I woke up I smelled eggs and bacon, I got up and Antonio wasn't on the couch. When I went into the kitchen he was at the stove cooking, I didn't know he could cook! I went closer and he turned around and looked at me with a smile on his face, "Good morning my beautiful revenge seeker." I laughed and kissed him, "Good morning to you too." I sat at a table in the kitchen and he had a cup of coffee ready for me, "No milk with 3 scoops of sugar just the way you like it." "Thank you." I told him with a smile, I took a sip and he put a plate of bacon and eggs in front of me. "Looks so yummy, I didn't know you could cook!" "I taught myself to cook so I could take care of Rose when our mom is at work. So I feed us both since out mom isn't home much." I nodded and took a bite of the eggs; he sat next to me with his food. "You wanna know a little secret?" He asked me, I nodded yes and he leaned close to my ear he whispered, "I had a crush on you ever since we met." When he moved away from my ear I saw a big old smile on his face, I smiled too. I moved towards him and he did the same, then out lips touched. He had his hands on my waist which sent chills up my spine. But also this strange feeling through my whole body, but it also felt amazing. It is kind of hard to explain the actual feeling fully. "Will you guys stop making out at the oddest moments?" We turned around to see Rose looking at us, "She did say that you need to get used to it." "Also, that wasn't even close to making out." I said, then I went back to my eggs. Rose came over to me, "Then what is making out?" "You will find out when you are older." She put her arms across her chest and huffed and she walked out of the room into her bedroom. "She is pissed you know?" "I know, I can tell that she is mad. But I really don't want to explain it to her. So I just left it at that." Antonio put me in his arms, "I understand. That would be a uncomfortable conversation. For the both of us." I nodded in agreement, and we both went back to our breakfasts. "Well what do you want to do now?" I just remembered it was Saturday. So we had the whole day to ourselves. What in the world where we going to do? "I have no idea. What do you want to do?" "I don't know what to do. Want to go for a walk and talk?" That sounded like a good idea so I nodded yes. We head out the door and walked around our neighborhood, we talked about our fun times before us three got into high school. That is when Rose started acting odd around me. "Antonio, do you think it could be possible that Rose likes me more than just a friend?" He shrugged, "I don't know maybe, why?" "It's just that she kind of acts weird around me. Like that she likes me." "Maybe, she might like you like that. I have noticed she acts odd around you." Yes! So I'm not the only one! Oh my fucking God, thank you! "So you have noticed it too?" "Yes I have. And it is quite strange, she liking you. I never thought she would like be bi or something like that." He said, I looked at him. "She could have been trying to keep it hidden, and wait until the right moment to tell us. And revel how she feels about me." "Perhaps, I truly don't know. It just seems kind of odd, and even when you are with me now." "I know, you would think she would have backed off now. You know?" I nodded in agreement, she was really head strong. For the first time I am unsure of what to do. If we should just encore her or do something. I pondered about this situation carefully for the little bit of fear that if I make a wrong move our new relationship would be gone for good. I thought more and more, but I couldn't come up with a solution to this. Antonio and I continued our walk trying to come up with ways to fix this situation. We got back to his house but yet to have come up with anything, when we got back I told him I was going to use the bathroom. I went in there and Rose was in the shower, "Sorry I was just going to use the bathroom but I'll just wait." "No, no your fine go ahead I don't mind." So I pulled my pants and underwear down and used the toilet, I swear I felt her eyes on me while I was peeing. It made me feel really uncomfortable; after I was done I immediately got up and left. I went into the living room and I saw him sitting on the couch, "You ok?" "Your sister was in the shower when I used the bathroom and I swore she was looking at me when I was taking a piss." His eyes widened, "Ok what the hell? She was looking at you while you were peeing?" I nodded yes, "This is getting really strange, why would she look at you while you were doing that?" "I don't know, this is getting really weird, I'm not sure what to do. Maybe we should just encore her?" Antonio shrugged and we sat there watching one of our favorite action movies, one of them with a lot of blood and gore. And his sister came down with a backpack, "Where are you going Rose?" "I'm spending the night at a friend's house, I'll be back tomorrow." Then she left and we watched her as she walk to her friend's house. Then we had the house to ourselves, we sat there in quiet and I leaned on his shoulder. Then he leaned on my head, and we dozed off. When I woke up he was still asleep so I thought that I would treat him with dinner like he treated me with breakfast. I got up carefully so I wouldn't wake him up and I went to the kitchen and I looked in their refrigerator and I saw chicken and some leftover spaghetti, and I saw a good meal. I cooked the chicken with some pepper and salt but not too much, then added the spaghetti. I put it on plates and filled some wine glasses with grape juice to make it look all fancy. Hey it's the thought that counts, right? I heard him wake up and I ran and sat on the counter with my glass of "wine" and waited for him to walk in. When he walked in I could see that he was surprised, "What the?" "Surprise!" I said to him with a smile on my face, he went towards the table which was set up like one of those fancy dinners at a restaurant. He looked at me and he smiled and laughed a little, "Why did you do this?" I Shrugged my shoulders, "Because I wanted to surprise you the same way u surprised me this morning." He went and sat down at the table I joined him and we ate our diner and we drank our "wine".
