Chapter 4

   I got my outfit on of course I know I have to be careful, he knows me very well. If I make one mistake the plan will be foiled, and he will find out before I really revile myself to him. As I was walking to his house I thought more about how I should approach him, the way I would as if I would normally visit him as myself or the way I would if he was a victim. “For him to understand I think I should do this like Nova then myself.” I whispered to myself when I was behind a bush by his house, I went into his house through his bedroom window; he was laying on his bed listening to music. His eyes were closed and his music on loudly, I went to him and I got close to his face, and I gave him a kiss on the cheek, he eyes went open very quickly, “Nova!” He yelled, I went closer to him and I put my hand towards him, “I am not here for my normal reasons Antonio Black.”

  He started to get a worried look on his face, I scared him normally that would be good but this time it wasn’t. “How do you know my name? Ugh that is a stupid question, you know everyone’s names. But still why are you here if you’re not going to get revenge on me?”

  “Because,” I said in a calm voice close to my own to give him a hint, “I am here to tell you something, I am not always Nova.” He got a confused look on his face I then started to take the wig off and the glasses, “It’s me Scarlet, I’m Nova.” He looked at me with shock, “W-why didn’t you tell me before?”

   “I was scared to tell you. And I was scared that it would ruin our friendship. And what I wish could have been.” He looked at me strange, oh fuck. Did I just say what I think I said? “What do you mean Scarlet?” Bloody hell! What was I going to say? Then I finally decided to let it all out, “Antonio, I have had a crush on you ever since we first met and I was afraid that if I told you, you would be scared to go out with me.” I messed up big time; I let out two of my biggest and darkest secrets. Oh my God what have I bloody done? I may have messed up our whole friendship! Fuck!

 I gathered up all the courage I had and went up to him, then I kissed him. He put his hands on my lower back, finally I was in his arms but instead of a hug, I was in his arms kissing him. Oh my God, I did it! I told him about me being Nova without him being scared of me. We heard his bedroom door open it was his year younger sister, Rose, “Why are you two kissing? Are you two going out or something?”

    I laughed and looked at him and he nodded, “Yes we are and you may be seeing more of this stuff for now on.” She rolled her eyes and left, “Please tell me you have your normal clothes on under you Nova outfit.” I nodded and motioned him to turn around and he did. I had a red plaid skirt with my normal black leggings on and a black shirt on that had a skull. “Ok you can look now.”

   When he turned he took me by the hand and kissed it. “Even though it would have been easier and less startling for you to just tell me, I would still be with you. And if it helps I will be your eyes and ears, I mean Nova’s.”

   “Just when you are around others if you are going to be talking about her don’t use my real name. Ok?” He nodded yes and led me down stairs to the living room and we saw rose on the couch, “You guys done making out?” We laughed, and went to the kitchen to get something to drink. “Cranberry juice?” I nodded yes, he knows I love cranberry juice when he passed me my glass I said thanks and we just stood in the kitchen for a while looking at each other. Rose came in and got herself a glass of milk, as she was leaving I felt her eyes on me and it really creped me out. Does she like me? If she does I didn’t know she was bi or something.

   When she left she looked at us and rolled her eyes and kept on going until we heard her bed room door close. “Was it just me or did it look like she was jealous at us?” I just shrugged and took another sip of my cranberry juice, I knew that she wasn’t just jealous, she liked me. When we were done with our drinks we looked at the clock, it was six. “If you want you can spend the night here.”

   “Sure, I would love to. This is the first time I have ever stayed at your house before it is really exciting!” I jumped into his arms and kissed him, “I am so glad we are together as a couple!” He then kissed me on the forehead, “I am glad too.”

   We went into the living room; I sat on the couch while he went looking through his movie collection. We both chose a movie me, him and Rose made. Then we fell asleep in each other’s arms.
