Chapter 12.

The Story Changes to Chifuyu's P.OV. Here, up until the next chapter.

We entered the hospital running right behind the ambulance, as they rushed my sis to a hospital room. I don't think i've ever been so scared in my life, my sis was hurt & it's all my fault. All i could hear at that point were the nurses & doctors running, they took both yuki & draken into a room. While we were on our way here, draken passed out too. Not long after sis did, this can't be real, this has got to be some type of nightmare.

"What's the situation!?"

"They're both in extreme critical conditions!, we have to treat them right away"

"Sis!"

"Chifuyu Stop! Let the nurses take care of them!"

Emma stopped me from going in with her i tried to get away from her but she had a good grip on me, we were forced to wait in the waiting room. This can't be happening no way, i can't lose her. I can't lose my sis too, not long after mitsuya & peh-yan came rushing into the hospital as well. Wait peh-yan's here i thought he was fighting mikey?.

"How's draken!? & where's yuki!?"

"Hey what's going on!?"

"I don't know.... Sis just suddenly blacked out & draken did too not long after her, they're both got knocked out pretty bad...."

"....Yuki.....?"

After a few more minutes mikey had arrived as well & i swear at that moment my heart just dropped, i think my body just started shaking too & my breathing got heavier.

"Mikey! Yuki & Draken are...-"

"I heard...."

He cut off emma & walked straight towards me, i don't know what happened next. I think mikey just punched me & pushed me backwards from the force of the punch, my mouth was bleeding i found myself spitting the blood to the side after i got hit & i couldn't do anything but just stand there. My head was screaming with so many thoughts & my heart was racing so damn fast, although i could hear the shocks in everyone's voice due to what mikey just did.

"M-Mikey!"

"If something happens to yuki because you failed to protect her..... i'll kill you myself! i thought you were suppose to protect her you bastard! What the hell where you doing the entire time back there!? answer me chifuyu!"

Mikey just had this cold & blood thirsty look in his eyes he was so angry with me, my hands were trembling. I couldn't face him or find the words to talk, was this really happening? It felt like my life just flashed before my eyes, every memory i had with sis. It felt like it shattered to pieces in that moment, emma stood between me & mikey stopping him from beating me to a pulp.

"Mikey Stop! Chifuyu didn't fail, it wasnt his fault. He protected her the whole entire time that they fought!"

"..... Fought.... Who fought? What the hell happened the whole time i was fighting moebius!? I thought chifuyu was suppose to keep her safe? I left kenshin in her care to take him to the hospital but he got yuki in here instead! Now they're both in there & who the hell knows what's going to happen to them! My yuki is....... it's his damn fault!"

"Tsk!"

Emma just suddenly slapped mikey across the face, i guess to knock some sense into him & it all went quiet after that mikey didn't even reacted to emma's slap he just took it, mitsuya & everyone else. They didn't talk or did anything at all, emma just spent the next few hours talking to mikey. I guess she was explaining what really went down back there, i don't know i was to scared to even pay attention or listen to what she was saying. I couldn't find the words to speak but somehow something slipped out & i barely managed to say a couple words.

"Sorry......."

"Don't apologize chifuyu, if it wasn't for you yuki would of ended in a much more worse state & draken too. No one is to blame here so quit picking at each other's throat & mikey stop blaming chifuyu, while you were busy fighting moebius, chifuyu was the one to be right at yuki's side the whole entire time & she even protected draken too. She risked her whole life out there to keep him safe. It's neither you or his fault so quit it!"

"Yea what mitsuya said, you two are being way to loud, you need to cool it down a knotch, we're in a hospital. I'm worried & scared too..... for both of them, but you don't see me freaking the hell out & arguing about it like you two idiots are doing so stop it!. Losing you're cool isn't going to help them... they'll be just fine, i know they will..... they have to.... right.... mikey....? chifuyu...?

Mikey's expression remained the same & so did mines, we didn't spoke after that, even emma was uncertain of what's going to happen next. Mikey went to take a seat while i just leaned agaisnt the all & slidded down on it & sat down with my head burried in my hands, the tension was high in here i could feel it. Mikey & everyone, scared to death for what the outcome of this is going to be. I never wanted anything in my life, but at this moment. I just prayed for a miracle that my sis would be okay, we were all scared, cold & wet from the rain.

"We were suppose to rule the whole country together.... all three of us... Me, Yuki & chifuyu..... just tell me that this is just all a dream...."

"............"

Hours & Hours went by, the silence was just torture. There was no news or anything on them, i was getting desperate & anxious. I wanted to see my sis, i wanted to be at her side, after what seemed hours of us waiting, the nurses & doctors walked out of the operation rooms, we all stood up so fast i was surprised we didn't fall over from how quick we got up.

"They'll be just fine"

".......What...?"

"We operated on the boy & stopped him from bleeding out he'll have a slight scar but other then that he'll be fine, the operation was a success."

So draken survived then, but the next question is.....

"What about Yuki?"

"She'll be fine too, her body just blacked out after those bruises & beating she got. She could of bled out if it wasn't for you two bringing her in, that was one nasty cut she got on her hand. Thankfully we were able to close it & stop the bleeding & we wrapped out any other open cuts too just incase. They'll both need a little rest before heading back out again so just give them a minute or two before you go in. She should be awake by then."

After hearing the news it felt like everyone's worries just dissapeared entirely, honestly they startled me. Everyone just screamed so loud & cried like a bunch of maniacs, though they were smiling too. I just tumbled over & fell back down again, i held my head with hand & mikey just stayed quiet but i could tell he was happy too. The nurses & doctors eventually left after they gave us the news.

"Jeez, keep it down"

"Thank goodness, i'm so happy."

"Let's go tell the toman guys waiting outside, hey chifuyu get up you're coming to"

"Right..."

"I can't face them...."

"......?"

"You did what you did for pah-chin's sake, they all know that"

"Mitsuya...."

"But here's the thing peh-yan, draken & yuki were the ones thinking about pah-chin the most out of all of us, ever since pah-chin got arrested draken went to pah-chin's parents to visit him. But since only relatives are allowed to meet with pah-chin's parents, he'd take along whatever he had to give & wait outside for the whole meeting. The whole time we were fighting moebius yuki was thinking of pah-chin too, we never abandoned him to begin with. She was worried sick for everyone."

"Wait.... sis did....?"

"Those are the guys you tried to get killed"

"Draken did..... & yuki too...?"

"You better go apologize to draken, pah-chin & everyone"

".......Yea...."

"Good to have you back Peh-Yan"

Eventually we all went outside, the rain had entirely stopped. There was nothing but just the wet streets now, the whole entire toman gang was waiting outside. Mitsuya told them the news & they all cheered & screamed, what a relief the nightmare was over. Sis survived & so did draken, but hang on where did mikey go? he suddenly just dissapered, i wondered around the hospital & went to look for him while mitsuya stayed with toman. I found him around the back at the hospital.

"Mik-"

I suddenly paused when i saw mikey leaned agaisnt the wall & just drop down, he was.... crying...? but just a second ago he was....

"Thank God..... Yuki... Kenshin....... i thought i lost you.... My yuki... i failed to keep my promise, i hope you can forgive me.... i don't now what i would of done if i lost you... i wouldn't be able to face you're parents if you....-"

At that moment i realised something. He just put on a brave face for everyone, he was scared & angry but didn't act on his dark impulses, mostly because emma stepped in, but his always acting tough & protecting yuki. But the minute she was put in a critical situation like that, he broke down & carried all the pain on his shoulders quietly. We both always worked so hard to keep her safe, ever since we were kids, we were on edge, we were scared, we were desperate, we even threw all hope out the fucking window. So much for the invincible mikey, honestly i would of been in the same state as him if i lost her, the one whose hurting the most right now are me & mikey. I hid behind the wall & stayed there as i heard mikey just sobbing his feelings out, this is a day we'll never forget. We almost lost sis & not only her but draken too, we prayed for a miracle & got one. They'll be just fine, we broke our promise but that won't stop us from protecting her. We'll keep doing what we know best & keep fighting together. I'll kill those bastards for what they did, i swear it. Sis... toman is here, we're all here for you. Me, Mikey & everyone. So get back up on you're feet, we still alot of memories to make together.
