Chapter 32.

[Long Chapter ahead - Now this is the part where emma is suppose to die & drive mikey into despair, but if you been reading & paying attention to my chapters & updates. You'll know that i wont be doing that, so i'll be rearranging & editing the scene here.]

Izana was here with us, standing right infront of us we couldn't believe it.

"Izana You bastard!"

"What the fuck you're planning to do with koko you bitch!?"

Inupi suddenly walked over to him & grabbed him by his shirt tight, i tried to stop him but he was really angry.

"Inupi stop!"

"Hey now, i'm  not planing anything he joined my gang all on his own"

Chifuyu growls at him loudly

"You bastard!"

"Hey you guys stop, this is not the place to be fighting"

"You heard her.... let me go i just came to visit my bro's grave, now that i got kokonoi i don't give a damn about you at all. Inui"

"Bastard!"

Suddenly someone called out to inupi, when we noticed who it was, it was mikey he was with his sister emma.

"Let him go inupi"

"Mikey! & Emma!"

"What's going on?"

"Well well brother & sister coming to pay they're respect, how sweet"

"Mikey...."

"Nice timing dude..."

"Yuki..... Chifuyu.... take emma away from here"

Me, Chifuyu & emma, stood outside the graveyard while mikey stayed behind with izana & inupi.

"That guy's my other older brother, izana right?"

"Yea...."

"But why come now....?"

Chifuyu groans annoyed & i honestly was just speechless, mikey & izana seemed to be talking about something, we tried to listen in to what they were saying.

"Bring all of toman to yokohoma's 7th pier at 8pm tonight, it'll be all of tenjiku vs all of toman, let's put an end to all this mikey"

"They're gonna fight soon?"

"Seems like it...."

"Is that why he came here? just to tell mikey that? tsk!"

"Why do boys have to fight all the time? leader of the tokyo manji gang, the invincible mikey. He always puts up a strong front, when shinichiro died. Every time mikey never showed any weakness to anyone"

"Yea you're right..."

"Never seen that guy break down or anything, his expression might show that his sad but i never seen him cry or anything..."

"Well to tell the truth... even now he can't sleep without clinging to his worn out terry cloth blanquet, he's still a weak little boy. So if he ever snaps from the strain of it all.... I'm gonna be the one to save him, just like how he save me or like... whatever i'm a bit to hard to act cool right? heheh...."

"Emma...."

"Heh.... you're just like my sis emma, always there to help out mikey"

"Hey you guys want a drink?"

"I'll share mines with sis so one we'll do"

"Yep~"

Suddenly a motorcycle came rushing towards us at a fast speed, me & chifuyu looked over & immediately went into shock when we saw who it was.

"Kisaki!?"

He rushed at us with a baseball bat at full speed, chifuyu immediately reacted & stood infront of me to protect me. But i then realised emma was just behind us as well, my body immediately reacted in an instant & turned towards her.

"Emma!"

I turned & ran towards emma as kisaki swung the bat at us both, the impact sended the both of us slidding across the floor with a loud thud, all i head was chifuyu screaming after that. He managed to hit us unfortunately, emma was hit & bleeding & so was i. The person they were targeting were me & emma, Emma got hit even though i protected her & my head was now bleeding.

"SIS!!"

Chifuyu came running towards us, i was still concious though despite the hit. I sat up but i was in pain, chifuyu grabbed a hold of emma since he saw me awake, we both just started to panic & freak out.

"Sis you're hit!"

"I'm... fine... but emma!"

"Emma! Hey emma! wake up!"

We knelt down & held emma, she was out cold. We then heard mikey come running over to us, he saw the blood & just froze there in shock.

"Emma.....? Yuki......?"

"Mikey.... i'm sorry.... i tried to protect her..."

"No! it's not her fault!"

"What happened?"

"She got hit by a drive-by biker attack...."

"Who...."

Mikey was still in shock, chifuyu was angry & i was just a nervous wreck.

"Kisaki! Kisaki did it! that fucking bastard!"

Mikey then took off his jacket & kneel down near us.

"Chifuyu set her on me"

"Yea i got her"

"There's a hospital now far from us, let's take her there quick"

Chifuyu picked up emma & placed her on mikey's back, mikey held on to her & we just took off in the direction of the hospital. 

"I'm gonna kill that fucking bastard!"

"Chifuyu stop..."

"But sis..."

"Let's just worry about emma for now"

"Mikey....?"

We all suddenly got surprised, emma was awake.

"Emma!"

"Huh...? i can't move... & i'm tired.... oh yea... i was hit by that biker...."

"Emma.. do you remember? back when you were five you chased after me & then fell of the jungle gym & broke you're leg, i haven't had to carry you like this since that time."

"Hey..."

"Hm?"

"If something happens to me...-"

Chifuyu & mikey suddenly interupted her.

"Stop... Emma don't..."

"You dummy nothing's going to happen to you"

"Tell draken for me... kenshin i love you okay?"

"Tell him yourself"

I honestly couldn't help but break down tears soon filled my eyes, i was shaking & nervous all together. Chifuyu was trying to keep it together but he was having a real hard time doing it, i could see the anger & despair in his eyes.

"Yuki....."

"Emma.....?"

"Take care.... of  mikey for me 'Kay?"

She suddenly just passed out & lost concious after that, we all just took a breath & freaked out. We couldn't believe this just happened.

"Emma...! Emma!? Hey....! i promised kenshin i'd keep this a secret but kenshin... he loves you ya know? the feling's mutual, so once we get to the hospital i'll call kenshin over right away. Okay? Emma!?"

"Mikey....."

"........"

Emma just stopped responding after that, i couldnn't help but break down. There was tears streaming down my face, chifuyu looked like he was about to break down too but didnt.

"Yuki....."

"Mmmm.......?"

"My jacket, put it over emma.... she's getting kinda cold..."

Chifuyu clenched his fist tight & i couldn't stop the shaking of my hands as i put the jacket over emma.

"Fuck..... i'm gonna kill him i swear......!!"

"........."

Mikey kept talking to emma as we walked to the hospital.

"I have this dream that one day you'll have a kid & kenshin will build a house, when i come over kenshin will totally ignore you. And we'll drink & laugh over the same old stories about the good old day like we always do"

"Stop.... mikey... let her rest...."

"Mikey......"

"I'll stay late into the night, then eventually i'll call mitsuya or yuki to come over. And we'd have a blast & we'll end up waking the baby & you'll totally flip out on me"

Mikey started to break down at this point, he was trying so hard not too but couldn't hold it anymore. Me & chifuyu were just speechless & couldn't find the words to speak, i suddenly felt my vision go blur & i felt dizzy. I found myself grunting slightly & tumbling over, chifuyu immediately noticed it & grabbed me before i could hit the ground. Mikey who was still carrying emma, looked back at us he broke down even more & started to freak out.

"Sis!!"

"My head... is spinning & it hurts..."

"Yuki......?!"

"Don't worry i got you, you got hit pretty bad too sis. I guess you're adrenaline finally wore off"

Chifuyu put one arm under my legs & the other one agaisnt my back as he picked me up bridal style, he ran infront of mikey & told him to hurry up to the hospital. I passed out on chifuyu's arms after that.

"Mikey hurry up! We gotta reach the hospital faster!"

"......... yea!"

Eventually we reached the hospital, they set emma in one room & i was placed in the other. Thankfully i woke up few minutes later after we had arrived, draken was in the room with emma & i was sitting in the hallway with chifuyu. He was standing infront of me closely using alcohol wipes to clean the blood of my hair & my head, it still stung a little when he was cleaning it. So i did flinch a little when he pressed it agaisnt my wound, the doctors had stiched me up so there wasn't any grave injury. He was throwing the stained wipes to the side & then grabbing clean ones once more to clean the rest of it.

"Ow.... it stings! Chifuyu....!"

"I know sis, just bare with me for a little longer, i'm almost done, stop moving & let me clean it"

"Chifuyu... i gotta do something"

"Don't... don't even start sis, just give it a econd. Let's leave the doctors do they're job."

"But they haven't even told us anything or even let us see her"

"Then we'll just have to wait or come back another time, we won't spend the night here but we'll try to visit if the doctors let us"

"........... all my fault...."

I heard chifuyu let out the biggest sigh ever, he didn't even try to say anything else & just brought me closer towards him, i was sitting down so i just hugged his weist & burried my face in his stomach he wrapped his arms around my head & held me close, he knew how we were all feeling so he didn't say anything that could make the situation any worse. Mikey on the other hand looked to be completely out of it, he looked to be completely in despair. Draken then walked out of emma's room.

"Draken....?

"Mikey... Come outside with me"

I had a feeling something was about to happen so i let go if chifuyu & followed them.

"H-Hey! Sis wait up!"

Once outside draken just stood there with mikey, mikey still looked completely out of him.

"What happen?"

".........."

"Draken.... it was..-"

Before i could tell draken what happened he punched mikey in the face sending him stumbling over, me & chifuyu got startled by the sudden punch.

"Oi! Draken what the fuck man!?"

"How could you let this happen? hey mikey.... what the hell were you doing you piece of shit!?"

"Stop draken it was my fault! i was right next to her, i tried to protect her but kisaki hit us both at the same time! Mikey didn't do anything wrong! if you're going to take it out on anyone it should be  me! Don't hurt mikey!"

"S-Sis! What are you...-"

He suddenly punched mikey again & made him stumble & fall on to the ground, ignoring what i was telling him. Either that or he heard me but still hit mikey instead.

"Draken! Knock it off man it wasn't mikey's fault!"

"Didn't you start toman so you could protect all of us!?"

My body reacted on it's own & i tried to grab & pull draken away from mikey, chifuyu freaked out when i did, but he kept beating on mikey.

"Dont Sis! you're still injured!"

"Pah-chin got fucking arrested! baji's in the hospital too! the cops got kazutora! & now emma!"

"Mikey! Draken!"

Draken suddenly grabbed me & pushed me backwards with intense force making me fall back into the ground hard i let out a loud yelp, chifuyu immediately reacted & screamed at him for pushing me. He immediately punched draken in the face with intense force & made him stumble to the side from the impact the thud noise from the punch was so loud too, chifuyu stood infront right inbetween them. Draken didn't even bother to react to chifuyu's punch, he just spit the blood that was on his mouth to the side. Seems chifuyu really did hit him hard.

"STOP YOU FUCKING PRICK!!! THIS WASN'T MIKEY'S FAULT! IT WAS KISAKI!!! you're beating the wrong fucking person! My sis is just trying to help you two fucking idiots & you're over here acting like fucking  maniacs! KNOCK IT THE HELL OFF!!!"

Chifuyu growls at him loudly, draken was just standing there & mikey was on the floor.

"Emma...."

"Huh?"

Chifuyu then noticed that draken started to break down, chifuyu sighs in response to seeing it. These two were hurting really bad & it was making toman fall apart. I sat up while still being in the group & i honestly broke down too, i brought both of my hands up & rubbed my cheeks as the tears fell down my face. Chifuyu understood why he was upset, he also understood the pain & despair mikey should be going through right now. But seeing them fight like this was heart breaking.

"No more..... please.... mikey... draken......"

"Look what you two have done...... are you satisfied now? assholes....."

"Mikey.... you lost everything.... & it hurts it really does.... but don't let this end this way... & draken please understand all of this is because of kisaki...."

Eventually we all went back inside, mikey was sitting down & i was standing infront of him. Chifuyu was leaning agaisnt the wall with his arms crossed & draken a few feet away from us.

"...... today's the fight with tenjiku mikey, it's probably not the best thing to say right now but.... we can't make a move unless you order us too..."

"..............."

Mikey was just completely out of it, there was no expression on his face & he wasn't responding at all. I just took a break breath & grunted, i don't know why but now i was angry & sad both at the same time.

"The one who attacked emma was kisaki, i think izana & him are just trying to take away everything's that's important to you. Knowing him he probably did some crafty shit to never get caught by the cops, his taking away everything you love but..... aren't i one of those things you love too? i'm still here..... mikey.... & i always will be...... emma..... will be okay... i know it... it maye be a long while before she wakes up again but don't lose hope.... please..... it's not just you... we all want emma to wake up again"

"..............."

"Sis....."

I growled loudly & made a decision right here & now.

"If you're not going to lead & fight tenjiku..... then i will, i'll lead toman myself & fight them"

Chifuyu suddenly snapped & freaked out when i said that. He immediately rushed over to me.

"WHAT!?! no way in hell you're doing that sis, do you know how many fucking members they even got? it's the whole toman gang vs them sis you...-"

I interupted chifuyu from speaking further & glared at him, he got startled when i did.

"Chifuyu stay with mikey..."

What!? No i'm not going to do that & leave you!"

"Just do it!"

I snapped at him & growled, to which made him flinch & stay quiet in response.

"I'll fight tenjiku myself with toman you stay here with mikey & just....... make sure that he gets out of this, he needs you right now"

"Me!? he needs YOU right now sis, not me. I'm not leaving you to go out there alone & fight an entire fucking gang by yourself, you're gonna get killed....... that's suicide & you know it!"

"If that's what it takes then so be it... i'll risk my life to fight & keep toman safe. Whatever it takes i just..... want to see my mikey smile again..... i'm doing this for mikey!"

"You can't be serious sis........ tell me you're joking...... please...."

"Stay here with mikey & if you follow me then i'll just beat you to a pulp until you can't walk, so don't fucking follow me chifuyu."

"Don't do this.... let me..-

I interupt him once more.

"Even if it's just me alone, i have to keep moving forward. I'll protect mikey, he can't protect himself right now or even fight. So i'll just take on his burden & fight"

"........ He should be protecting you & taking YOU'RE burdens, his the one who keeps making promises to you on keeping safe & all that other bull shit! you had plans to do together with mikey sis, if you die because his to far down the fucking darkness hole then those plans you two made are never going to happen, you have a future to..-"

I didn't say anything else & just walked passed chifuyu, he was still in shock of what everything i just said. He was in pure disbelief entirely & he was freaking out too, he just watched me leave him behind, mikey couldn't lead toman right now so it was up to me to do it. The look on chifyu's face was just pure fear & sadness. I know mikey heard what i said but i know he was also still upset because of what happened to emma, so i decided not to bother him anymore or ask for his help.

"This can't be happening right now..... sis...... you can't do this...."

I ran outside the hospital & made my way towards toman's base as fast as my legs could take me, as soon as i got there everyone was waiting. I was panting & breathing heavily because of the running i had to do to get here, i made my decision & im not backing out now.

"Everyone! Please listen to me! just a while ago mikey's little sister got attacked & was put in coma at the hospital."

Everyone suddenly got shocked upon hearing the news.

"What? Mikey's sister?"

"Is our leader okay?"

".... Mikey won't be participating in today's battle agaisnt tenjiku because of it, same with our vice leader."

Everyone started to freak out, if we didnt have mikey & draken then this fight was as good as dead. Inupi then suddenly spoke up to me.

".... We shouldn't be fighting then, an army without a king is just a mob. We'll lost this fight 100% without them"

"His right, we shouldn't be fighting today, we should just back out"

"NO!"

I screamed at them loudly trying to make them stop chattering.

"Toman will fight tenjiku!"

"Huh!? The fuck you're going on about!? toman can't do anything without mikey!"

"You put you in charge anyways!? you're not our leader so we don't have to listen to you!"

"Better stop fucking around, go & fight them yourself!"

They all just ignored me & started leaving, everyone's right. But if we don't fight today then we'll just be playing right into kisaki's hands.

"FINE RUN AWAY YOU COWARDS! ......... even if i have to do this alone.... i'll fight them myself!!"

Suddenly someone screamed at me from the crowd.

"NO IT WON'T! it won't just be you alone! i'm coming with you yuki!"

"Akkun!?"

"This is how it always is! you're the only one who never runs away from a fight!"

"Us too!!"

The Mizo's middle five suddenly walked forward to me, Akkun, makoto, Takuya & kazushi. My breath got shaky & i was in disbelief.

"Let's take tenjiku together!"

Someone else walked among the crowd towards me.

"Yuki's not the type to pick fights she knows she can't win, Hey yuki!~ I snuck out of the hospital hehe!~"

"Smiley!!! you're okay!!!!"

"Yep!~ Hehehe!~"

More of the other toman members started to gather around too.

"She's an idiot & hella reckless, but her heart is in the right place. And that's why she never runs away."

"Mitsuya!!"

"Take these two along with ya yuki"

"You're not taking all of toman's burden yourself yuki, i'm coming with you too"

"You got that life saver?"

"Angry...... & hakkai...... you guys...."

"Are you idiots insane.... that's suicide.."

I stood my ground & refused to back down, i was glad that i still had people on my side. Familiar faces were right beside me now. This is our last chance to make a stand together.

"The odds are agaisnt us! But if we run away now that's the end of toman! we have no choice but to prove to them that even without mikey toman's not going to lose this fight! so please.... don't abandon toman...."

They were hesitant at first but then they all screamed ver loudly it startled me.

"Yea!!! for toman!!"

With that being said we marched forward for the big fight, this was it. There's no turning back now, i'll lead toman to victory even if it kills me. So just watch me mikey.... chifuyu... I swear i'll protect you both & toman.
