(F/n) woke up feeling sweaty and out of breath. She huffed quietly, remembering that she was still at Yachi’s house and didn’t want Yachi to lose any sleep over her. She blinked a couple of times, trying to calm herself down, and looked at the alarm clock that sat at Yachi’s nightstand.
2:36 a.m.
(F/n) waited a couple of seconds to make sure Yachi was still sleeping before she rid herself of the blanket and left the room. She opened and closed the door as quickly as she could before taking a deep breath and started walking to the kitchen. In there, she grabbed a glass from the drying rack and opened the fridge to pour herself a glass of water. She took generous sips before setting the glass down as she sighed.
“Don’t cry,” she whispered to herself, “Not here,”
Snippets of the dream flashed behind her eyes and she winched at the painful images.
“You know better,” she told herself, “Nothing like that would ever happen to her,”
She poured herself some more water, took shaky sips, and went over to the sink to wash the cup before putting the pitcher away in the fridge.
‘There goes my sleep for the rest of the week,’ she thought to herself as she walked over to the living room windows of the apartment. She stared at the view, her mind racing as all her thoughts came together all at once.
‘You’re fine,’ she told herself, ‘It’s just a stupid dream,’

When her clock stroked 3, Yachi felt herself start to come to. She felt groggy and wondered why her body decided to get up at this time. She yawned and sat up, observing her surroundings.
