⚠️Trigger warning: anxiety, tiredness, fear, sad⚠️

Harry's POV:
Louis said goodnight to the boys and then we headed upstairs, I quietly open the door of Charlie's bedroom and pop my head in to make sure he is okay, Aww he's so adorable.

Sprinkles his cat was asleep on the end of his bed and Charlie was asleep cuddling his cat toy, I pull up his duvet and gently brush a few of his stray curls out of his eyes before leaving.

Shutting the door behind me and then we continue heading to our room and getting ready for bed and some much needed sleep.

I took my sleeping pills so I get a decent nights sleep and finished my tea in bed while Louis was in our bathroom having a shower.

As I lay in bed, the events of the day replayed in my mind like scenes from a movie. The comfort of our familiar bedroom enveloped me, and I felt a wave of exhaustion wash over me, urging me towards sleep.

I had intended to wait for Louis, to spend a few quiet moments together before drifting off to sleep. But the heaviness in my limbs and the soothing embrace of the duvet proved too much to resist, and before I knew it, I was slipping into a deep slumber.

Despite my usual tendency to sleep lightly, tonight I found myself in a state of blissful oblivion, unaware of the passing time until the sound of the bathroom door opening jolted me awake.

Through the haze of sleep, I recognized Louis' familiar footsteps as he made his way back into the room.

I listened as he moved about the room, his attempts at being quiet failing as usual. A smile tugged at the corners of my lips as I heard him rummaging through my drawers, his efforts to avoid waking me in vain.

When he finally approached the bed, I felt a rush of warmth flood my chest as he leaned down to place a gentle kiss on my forehead.

It was a simple gesture, yet it filled me with a sense of love and belonging that washed away any lingering traces of sleepiness and anxiety or fear that was present.

With a contented sigh, I shifted closer to him as he climbed into bed beside me, the soft rustle of the sheets a comforting reminder of his presence.

In the safety of Louis's embrace, I felt a sense of peace wash over me, banishing any lingering worries or fears that had crept into my mind throughout the day.

His warmth enveloped me like a protective cocoon, shielding me from the outside world and cocooning me in a blanket of love and safety but also just comfortableness.

With each rise and fall of his chest, I felt a sense of tranquility settle over me, the steady rhythm of his breathing a soothing lullaby.

That calmed my breathing back to a steady rhythm and also calmed my racing thoughts and mind finally putting me at ease for the night.

In the darkness of our bedroom, surrounded by the familiar scent of his cologne and the soft rustle of the sheets, I felt at home with him, my safe place and my everything.

I nestled closer to him, seeking solace in the comforting embrace of his arms. His touch was gentle yet firm, a silent reassurance that everything would be okay.

And as I closed my eyes, allowing myself to drift once more into the depths of sleep, I knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, I would face them with Louis by my side.

In that moment, with his heartbeat echoing in my ears and his warmth seeping into my bones, I felt a profound sense of gratitude for the man lying beside me.

He was my rock, my anchor in the storm, and so much more and I was honestly and endlessly thankful for his unwavering love and support.

As he pulled the duvet over us, I nestled against him closer, feeling the steady rhythm of his breathing lullabied me back into a peaceful comfort.

As sleep claimed me once more, I surrendered myself to its embrace, knowing that with Louis beside me, I had everything I needed to face whatever tomorrow might bring.

And as dreams danced on the edges of my consciousness, I let myself be carried away on a tide of love and warmth, safe in the knowledge that in Louis's arms, I was home...
