A new day going to start my new job, I wonder if my classes will be hard or will be easy to teach? I'm just hoping this isn't too hard for me to do I don't want to be stressed out on my first day speaking of which- IM GOING TO BE LATE- I hurried out the door grabbing my keys before locking my door and heading to my new place of work, I open the doors.. not the prettiest school but I guess I shouldn't expect much from this place when half the students go missing.. I wonder what's happening to them I shrug it off before bumping into someone
"Oh I'm so sorry!" I say getting up and dusting myself off
"Oh no no you're quite alright it's my fault I wasn't looking where I was going, I'm miss grace, and you are?" She asks in a questioning tone
"Oh I'm Mx. y/n I'm the new (subject) teacher" I explain calmly just in case she doesn't know me
"Oh Mx. y/n! Welcome to the team I hope your time working with us is as nice and calming as possible" she smiles "let me show you around!" She said before walking off I quickly followed after her she showed me all the staff rooms, all the storage areas and the break room "here's miss Circle's class room she teaches math, I'm hoping you two get along well, and over there is miss bloomies class, she teaches science, and we have miss Thavel's class she teaches languages, over here is where the art room and kindergarten is, Miss Sasha's room and then we have the door we're not allowed to touch-"
"Why not?" I asked cutting her off mid sentence
"Because it's dangerous in there, anyways over there is the history class miss Emily teaches there, and over here we have the music room"
She opens the door, there was a man with green eyes, with two pencils a top his hand along with two small horns, his bangs on the left side reminds me of a keyboard you'd see in a music room, he's wearing glasses
"Oh sorry Mr demi I didn't think you'd be in here at the time"
Mr Demi? Huh that's a nice name, I kinda just stand there waiting the two to stop talking
"Well I showed up a little earlier today to clean some instruments just in case one of my students forget theirs at home"
"Well anyways we have a new teacher meet Mx. Y/n"
I wave at them, almost forgetting I have words I can speak "hello! Nice to meet you Mr demi"
"Hello mx. Y/n if I may ask what subject do you teach?"
"I teach (subject) well I'm going to im just hoping everything goes well"
"That's great I hope everything goes well for you too, unlike my first day" he chuckles I chuckle too at the comment too
"Yeah I hope so too, I'd hate to already want to quit on the first day"
"Well I have to get back to what I was doing, sorry to cut this visit short I hope you have a great time teaching your classes and good luck"
"Thank you! I hope to see you again soon" I say before waving goodbye and walking off with miss Grace to find my new classroom she leads me to a classroom it's not much right now but I plan to decorate it I grab out some of the decorations I bought for the classroom and start decorating before my class, soon I see a few kids walk in, they look confused by seeing me
"Uh who is this person?"
"Do I look like I know?"
"Maybe it's a new teacher?"
I turn around and wave at them
"Hello I'm Mx. Y/n please take a seat" I say in a calm and kind tone, I don't want to scare them before they even sit down, they all sit down at the same table soon more students walk in and sit down
~time skip~
Lunch break came along after a few periods I would have been happier if I didn't have to be in the cafeteria while the kids eat, I feel something hit the side of my head I look over and see Oliver, zip and Edward giggles zip getting ready to throw another paper airplane at me, i sigh and walk over to the trash and recycling bin putting the paper airplane in the recycling bin before feeling something else hit my head I grip the back of my head and lock behind me to see a rock they threw a rock at me? Sure enough I look over and they're laughing and giggling I sigh waiting for this lunch break to be over so I can go to the nurses office for some ice pack or something, honestly I just hope I'm not bleeding because that's more annoying than just the back of my head hurting, or a concussion that would be horrible a concussion on my first day I would probably quit, actually I might just even if I'm not hurt because getting rocks thrown at my head!? Ha like I'd want to work here for long I might as well put in my two week notice before I get anything else thrown at my head soon the bell rings and I go get a ice pack holding it against the area that was hit I pull it back because it stung and believe it or not I was bleeding of course what a great first day I groan before getting some bandages and putting them on
"Uh Y/n what happened?"
I turn around and see Mr demi
"I got hit in the back of the head with a rock"
"Oh dear.. let me guess it was Oliver and his friends?"
"Yep, let me guess they're trouble makers?"
"To say the least yes they are"
"Oh they're that bad..?"
"Yep, they're that bad"
"Honestly I was thinking of quitting.."
"Oh, don't quit yet it'll get better I promise"
"Alright I won't quit yet if it doesn't get better I'll quit and if it does I won't quit"
"I really hope it gets better for you I promise if it doesn't I could try talking to the group"
"Thank you"
~a few months later it's valentines day and you don't have a date~
I sit in my class eating some valentines day chocolates I got from my friend, I wouldn't say I hate or love valentines day it's just annoying because I don't have a date most the time so it's annoying to say the least I notice Mr demi walk in to my class with a note I can't really make out the words on it but he looks over at me before asking
"Oh you have a date for Valentine's?"
I look over at him confused about what he just said before looking down at the chocolates I realized what he meant
"Ohhh no no, I got these from my friends I'm probably more lonely than you think"
"Oh so, uh would you be willing to be my Valentine's..?" He says handing me the letter that says 'for your eyes only <3' while fixing his shirt collar I take the note and read it 'dear y/n, roses are red violets are I've been in love with you haven't you been too?' I giggle slightly at the words on it then saying
"Alright I'll be your date for this day"
