Eren looked around eyeing all the empty bottles of liquor spread across the lower floor of his house, as well as the piles of takeout boxes, and dirty dishes littering the countertops.

"Where do I even begin?" He asked himself, sighing, and running his fingers through his hair.

Eren scanned the house again, before signing, and walked into his kitchen, grabbed the box of trash bags under his sink, pulled one out, and opened it.

Eren looked out into the octagon, listening to the announcer as his cornerman and coach finished wrapping his hands.

"You know him all too well, you've seen him here time and time again, he needs no introduction, Reiner, "The Warrior", Braun!"

Eren rolled his eyes, as he heard the crowd outside erupt in cheer.

"How long is this supposed to be now, Mr. Leonhardt?"

"Two rounds, three if you stretch it," Leonhardt said, slipping on his gloves. "The first one is supposed to draw the crowd in, so keep it suspenseful, keep it real."

Eren nodded his head, smirking. "I'm sure it'll be over in two."

He then looked to his left, looking at his gloomy girlfriend. "What do you think, Annie, should I finish it in two, or stretch it to three?"

She shrugged, "I don't know, truthfully I don't really care how long it lasts."

"Cold, Annie, cold.." He said, faking a saddened look.

She walked up to him, patting his cheek, then  placing a quick kiss on it. "I'm sure you'll get over it"

"You're set, Eren. Remember, the signal is him dropping his left hand, hit him hard, and hit him good. From then, the fight is yours."

Eren smiled, and slid on his red and gold hooded vest, "The Titan" shining in gold letters on his back.

"... And his opponent, a rookie fighter coming into the wider world. Eren, "The Titan", Yeager!"

Eren charged out from below the stadium's stands, running out into the middle of the octagon. He threw his arms into the air, belting out an adrenaline-filled scream. The crowd screamed with him, filling the stadium with cheers.

He moved his eyes from the crowd, looking at his opponent, who was glaring at him from across the ring. Eren looked at him and smiled cockily.

Then, he blinked.

Suddenly the cold octagon floor was against his back, and a crushing weight on his stomach.

Thud, thud, thud

in quick succession Eren felt heavy blows against his body.

Thud, thud, thud

He felt a cracking in his rib cage

Thud, thud, thud

His vision went blurry

Thud, thud, thud

Eren jolted awake, gasping in surprise

"What the hell?" He asked himself, rubbing his eyes. He looked around, finding himself to be on his living room couch. "Was I dreaming?"

Another set of bangs came from what he could now tell was the front door, followed by a voice.

"Eren? Eren, are you home?"

Eren stood up off the couch, and stretched, feeling his back cracking. He walked over to the door, and opened it,

"Mikasa?" He asked, rubbing his eyes once more.
