Chapter 7

~Eight years ago~

I held my stomach as I bent down feeling the pain.
It took me another few seconds to straighten back up looking at Namjoon, we both whipped our teary eyes, I smiled widely at him.
"I can't keep laughing my tummy is killing me," I said looking up instead at Joon's funny face.
"My face," he rubbed them "my cheeks are so sore,"
"Stop being so funny Hobi," he smiled again.

"It's my nature," I looked at him again feeling the bubbling laughter about to burst out again.
"Okay, okay let's ju-"

"Hoseok! Hoseok!! Where is he??" Someone screamed me and Namjoon looked back seeing Jackson running wild pushing people away, screaming my name he had scared look on his face.
"Yo Jackson!" Joon shouted waving his hand, "we're here!"
"Hey what's wrong why you screaming my name like that?" I asked as soon as he walked closer to us, he bent down hands on his knees as he breathed.

"Don't panic, but there was a situation with Jimin he is at the head alpha's house right now and there some other pack there blaming Jimin for something,"
"Is he hurt?" I felt my voice getting deeper.
"Not from what I-"
I leaped ahead and ran as fast as I could, no one will hurt my Jimin, no one.

"..could he possibly have done?!" I heard head alpha's threatening voice, I ran into the quart-yard looking Jimin with my eyes, he stood with Tae hugging him, they both had tears in their eyes.
I immediately walked over to him he saw me and started crying even harder, choking saying he did nothing. I felt relieved holding my baby brother in my arms, not caring for the tears marked my blue hanbok, knowing he is safe. I whispered in his ear and handed him to Tae who was holding him close.

I felt my anger bubbling inside me as I walked closer to the head alpha, knowing I need to be respectful even in situations like this.
"He did, daddy, he lifted my dress and touched me!" I heard that bitchy ugly girl talk.
"You heard my daughter. He will be punished".
"He say he did nothing, so. He.did. Nothing." I said lowly.

Head alpha looked at me from the corner of his eye, not stopping me.
"You got some terrible untamed children in your pack Dong-Wook," the other pack alpha looked at me, his eyes shining with cruelty "you better start teaching them to behave. They should know not to interrupt when adults are talking." His eyes never looking away from mine.

"Maybe some adults can learn how to not blame others for something they didn't do," I answered back this time I growled.
Head alpha was angry I could feel it but I didn't care. The next few moments we were escorted inside the fortress. Both of the alphas went to the head alpha's headquarters room.

"Im sorry hyung," Jimin cried in my arms, "but she is lying, I did nothing, nothing!"
I patted him on the back, "I know Chim, but do you even know her?"
He looked up at me, "I don't, we bumped into each other at the forest and we both fell down, I apologized and got back on my way,"
"That's it? You bumped into each other, fell down and walked away?"
"No, that," he paused his cheeks tinted red I laughed on the inside, "you can say a bad word only this time," I whispered to him.

"That punk followed me to the river, she then bumped into me again but this time we fell into the river, I got out and so did she, about an hour later her pack came to me and grabbed me here," he sniffed.
"Hyung will take care of it don't worry Chim," I said patting him on the back he nodded to my words.

I felt pair of eyes looking at us and I turned back seeing someone looking at us behind the pole. I looked back at Tae telling him to replace me and be with Jimin as I headed towards the head alpha's headquarters as I approached I heard the other alpha talk, and my blood ran cold and I burst in not caring for how disrespectful I acted.
"Hoseok, now it's not the time get out," head alpha said, I shook my head, "please forgive me for this," I lowered my head at apologies manner at his direction and then turning to the other head alpha.

"If you dare touch my brother I will not hesitate to do the same with your daughter,"
I do not know where this threat came from and I didn't care, I saw head alpha standing quickly and I continued, "you will NOT take him anywhere!" Head alpha pushed me back saving me from a hand full with claws headed to my face.

"Dong-Wook," that head alpha said with heavy stiff tone, "you owe me greater compensation than you think," he looked at me "either I take that pussy cry baby who hurt my daughter or I kill him, you choose." He smiled viciously.
"If you touch him I'll kill you!" I screamed behind head alpha's back

"That's enough!" Head alpha raised his voice, and both me and the other alpha stood there quite stunned, his voice was filled with authority and power. None of us moved.

"You will not kill or take with force anyone from my pack, am I clear?!" I sensed the air vibrate as he spoke, it frightened me to feel that kind of power, his scent changed only a bit, he was in control.
The other head alpha must have sensed that too as he lowered his head but stood his ground.
"And you," he turned to me, I looked down and he sighed, "I am responsible for both you and Jimin the same way you feel for Jimin," I nodded feeling tears in my eyes

"There is no proof nor evidence that shows your daughter words are true," he turned back to the other head alpha.
"There is no evidence nor proof she is lying," he retorted. "I stand and demand punishment."
"It seems like you already made up your mind for the suitable punishment," head alpha said raising a brow.

"I have," he nodded "this little brat won't hurt my daughter and get away with it, no one will."
"I remind you that these are children we're talking about, no need to take such actions," head alpha said.
"Honor demands," He answered, "if he took something from me by doing so to my daughter I will do the same."

I stood there waiting for the sentence of my brother.
"I will not let you take any member of my pack, honor or not I will not have it." Head alpha tone dropped cold and dangerously.
"You'll risk your own people for your pride?"
"Im defending my people, every single one of them."
"Something needs to be given," he challenged head alpha "either that crybaby or you pick someone else."
"Is that a threat?" Head alpha lowered his voice, this time I could smell his anger, not so much in control.

After our parents died Jimin was the only one I cared for, even my friends knew that, no matter what if Jimin needed me I'll be there immediately, I would never let anyone hurt Jimin and I will always protect him, but at that moment I knew I had to expend my care for Jimin and include the whole pack.
My hurt ache for the thought I had, and my mind were set with the decision I made.

"If something, or someone needs to be taken, not by force, not by picking someone else," I said looking straight into the other head alpha's eyes.
"Take me."
