The day after Mason and Tavion's camping trip on August 29, they both text each other good morning as Tavion gets ready to go to his friend Hailey's house to hang out and goes on with his day while texting Mason. 15 minutes later on Tavion's way to Hailey's house, he gets pulled over by another male cop. The cop walks up to Tavion's car and Tavion nervously asks the male cop a question. "Good afternoon officer. Is there a problem here?" The cop says, "Yes there is and the reason I pulled you over is because one of your taillight bulbs are out."
They both looked at each other and realized that they both knew each other from Square Q and Tavion says to the officer. "Hey, I recognize you. You go to my store around the college campus. Officer Cruz right?" Cruz replies back, "I thought I recognized you too, and yes it is. Well, I'm going to let you off with a warning but promise me that you'll get that bulb changed out right away?" "Yes I promise officer Cruz. I'm going to get that taken care of right away," Tavion and Cruz both smiled. Cruz is a 31 year old white male who is 6 feet tall with ginger colored hair, a goatee, blue eyes, big muscles and has arm tattoos.
Tavion gets the taillight bulb situated right away 10 minutes before he arrives at Hailey's house. Tavion tells Hailey everything about him and Mason hanging out and Hailey asks him a surprisingly question. "So are you and Mason you know, official yet?" Tavion shook his head. "No not yet. We're still in the talking stage." Hailey says, "Well what are you waiting for? Ask him to be your boyfriend already." Tavon tells her, "We barely became close friends. I'm not ready to make a commitment with Mason yet. It's too soon and we both have to hang out more often before we become official," as Hailey mocks Tavion simultaneously.
Tavion and Hailey both went to the mall to go shopping and eat food. Hailey really wants Tavion and Mason to be official but Tavion says no. Hailey says, "Hey, I just realized that the mall would be a perfect place to date for the both of you love birds." Tavion says, "True but I'm not having my date with Mason here. It has to be more romantic than this you know?" Hailey didn't buy any of it while she mocks him and Tavion got really annoyed by her. "Okay Hailey, I think you need to give this matchmaking game a break."
On August 30, Hailey and Tavion came in to work the morning shifts at work while officer Cruz arrives at the store and Tavion whispered to Hailey. "Cruz was the officer that pulled me over yesterday for a worn out bulb and was very nice enough to let me off with a warning." Hailey says, "Well that's nice enough of Cruz to let you off with a warning especially that you both know each other here at Square Q. The cops that works for the University becomes friends with the employees like us here." Tavion starts blushing at Cruz and Hailey notices him staring at Cruz. "Ooh. Someone has a crush on Cruz," and Tavion replies, "Can you stop being annoying for once? I'm doing my job by making regulars happy that's all. You really need to let these things go.
As soon as Tavion and Hailey's shift ended, they both discuss on how Cruz pulled Tavion over for the worn out bulb and Hailey says, "Cruz pulled you over because he likes you." Tavion got very annoyed and said, "That has nothing to do with the bulb being out in my car. He has to do his job you know. You get so antsy on every guy I have a crush on." As soon as Tavion dropped Hailey off at her house from work, Tavion arrives at his home 30 minutes later and texts Mason. They both complimented each other over text and talked about how one another's day was.
