Nearly two months on December 4 at one in the morning at work, Tavion still can't get over the fact that Mason is still in a coma for two months and left work super early to go visit Mason at the hospital. Tavion texts Lucas about how Mason was put in a coma from the bad car accident and Lucas felt very sad for him and Mason. "Dude I'm so sorry. I hope that he recovers from a bad coma soon. If you ever needed anything, I'm always here for you no matter what. Don't hesitate to call, text or come visit me if you needed to." Tavion appreciates Lucas for the love and support. "Thank you. I'll definitely keep you updated if anything."
On December 5, Gabriel and Cruz arrive at the hospital to comfort Tavion and Mason so that way they won't feel lonely and gave them love and support. Ever since Mason went in a coma, the police station hasn't been the same without Mason there as Cruz mentions, "Mason's one of the best hardworking officers on duty. Without him, everyone's worried sick about him." Tavion agrees to what Cruz said and mentions, "Mason treats me like a king of his own and I appreciate every moment together." One of the lady nurses told the boys. " If Mason doesn't recover anytime soon, he could die from this serious bad accident he had." Cruz says, "There has to be some sort of treatment for him to wake up from this coma he's having." The nurse says, "I'm sorry but there's nothing else that we could do. We tried everything we did and nothing worked. Just give him some time to recover and hopefully he'll wake up." The boys are still in shock and sad from what the nurse said about Mason.
A week later on December 12, Cruz comes over to Tavion's house to talk to him about Mason. "I feel like this is all my fault. I just wish he would wake up from this coma. It's not the same without him at the department. I just wish there is something that I can do to help him recover." Tavion replies back as he comforts Cruz. "Don't blame yourself for this. It's not your fault for Mason's coma. If Mason was here right now, he would tell you that you're one of the best hardworking cops on the field just like Mason and I would say the same thing about you." Cruz and Tavion gazed into each other's eyes as they started kissing. Tavion pulls away from Cruz. "I'm sorry but I'm going to go to my room." Cruz didn't realize that he made Tavion feel uncomfortable and starts to leave Tavion's house.
In December 15 while Cruz started going on duty during his shift at the police department, he explains to Gabriel about what happened between him and Tavion. "Dude. You can't believe what just happened yesterday. Gabriel questions, "What is it?" "Don't tell anyone this but Tavion and I kissed. Gabriel went in shock. "Dude, if Mason founds out about you two kissing, he's going to fire you for stealing his man and break up with Tavion right on the spot." Cruz realizes that he doesn't want to get in the way of Mason and Tavion's relationship but accepts Gabriel's advice. "I know that but let's just hope that nobody knows about what happened between Tavion and I." Gabriel agrees with him as Cruz started to have feelings for Tavion ever since the day the two of them kissed.
On the next night on December 16 during Tavion's overnight shift at work, he can't get over the fact that him and Cruz kissed so Tavion realizes that he's starting to have feelings for Cruz as well. After Tavion's shift ended, he invites Cruz over to place to apologize to Cruz. "Cruz. I'm sorry that I hurt your feelings. I felt bad for walking out on you like that but I just don't want Mason to find out that we kissed. Do you think you'll ever forgive me?" Cruz accepts Tavion's apology and apologizes back. "Of course I'll forgive you and I'm sorry too." As the two both smiled, they became best buddies again as if nothing crazy happened to between the two of them.
