In the previous part, we read that because of Leo's push, Kavin couldn't control himself and slipped, falling straight onto the road from the car.
Now, moving forward,
When Kavin screams out loud due to his fall, Leo's breath catches suddenly upon hearing his voice. Poor Leo quickly opens his door and rushes to Kavin, who is lying on the ground. Leo grabs him from the shoulders, lifts him up, and supports him on his shoulder, speaking very seriously,
"Ar... ARE YOU OKAY ..... Did you get hurt?"
"To ask if I'm hurt or not," Kavin replies angrily, making a face.
Ignoring Kavin's remark, Leo starts examining him closely and asks again,
"Just tell me if you're in too much pain?"
"Okay, forget all that, just tell me how your Hindi is so good?" Kavin says, trying to make a joke. "Who taught you and (rolling his eyes) I still make mistakes in writing, wow," he adds, chuckling.
Upon seeing Kavin making fun, Leo ignores his words and looks at him attentively, asking again,
"Meaning, you're okay from head to toe?"
"Yes, brother, a lot," Kavin says, wincing in pain.
"Alright, let's go to the hospital," Leo says, trying to lift him up.
"But your company, the meeting, that..."
(Interrupting Leo)
"You are more important than anything 💗 .....
Saying this, Leo grabs Kavin by the shoulder and starts taking him away. At that moment, Kavin manages to sit up on his own, groaning, and sits back down again. Looking at Leo's concern, he speaks up once more, his voice trembling with pain,
"You promise to come to the party, then I'll come with you."
"BEHAVE MR KAVIN (staring at him), Stop the nonsense. It's impossible for me to attend the party, so just forget about it and stop behaving like a kid," Leo asserts.
"Okay fine, you go then," Kavin says, turning away. "Why waste your time on me."
"You're getting late for the studio... so get up now," Leo says, getting frustrated.
But now Kavin doesn't listen. Instead, he puts his hand on his ear, turns his face the other way, and starts humming a song. Seeing this, Leo stands there, staring at him with big, angry eyes, trying to control himself because hitting Kavin wouldn't solve anything, so he says,
"Kavin, get up."
"Promise first," he says from there.
Meanwhile, people passing by witness this drama and enjoy it, some even laughing. From there, Leo pinches the bridge of his nose, folds his arms, and says,
"Okay, I promise I'll come."
"Is this a circus or what? Everyone, run!" Kavin says, looking outside.
Upon hearing Kavin's words, Leo just sighs and starts the car, cleaning himself up and saying,
"You are like butter, can't say 'yes' straight away, had to create a little drama."
"Okay, now get out of here," Leo says, driving towards the car.
"No... no, brother (placing his hand on his waist), I agree it was a drama, but I'm really in pain (pleading). Please drop me to the studio, I'll manage to go to the hospital myself," Kavin says, joining his hands with affection.
Seeing this, Leo stares at him calmly and says,
"Fine, I'll drop you."
And then, swiftly, he gets out of the car and opens the door for Kavin, saying,
"The doctor is waiting, hurry, run from here."
"Aww... my dear brother (patting his cheek), by the way, brother, you never told me how you got this half-cut scar on your eyebrow...(smiling) By the way, it looks good...
But before Leo can finish his words, he pushes him away again, making Kavin come out and says,
"I don't know where my sister-in-law is. My sister-in-law, where is she? Uff, I feel bad for her, becoming the wife of this monster, but... I'm damn sure she'll fix you... and then it'll be fun for me."
And saying this, Kavin groans again in pain, because he knows that if he stays a few moments longer, the bones that aren't broken yet might break, so he quickly sits inside the car and starts the AC, undoing two buttons of his shirt (which provide relief) and closes his eyes, taking deep breaths. After some time, when he starts feeling normal again, he opens his eyes and starts touching his eyebrow where the scar is, thinking about the incident that caused it.
