"Woong, are you out of your mind?" Seoho asked, as soon as the two of them were alone. Hwanwoong was positive he had never heard disbelief and astonishment both so clear in his brother's voice before. "I... I thought you hated him all this time long! Then, Lady Chaerin bursts in our house in the middle of the night asking about you and Mr Youngjo, and you leave at dawn and you come back home with him who just asked me for your hand as if you've been courting each other longer than Mr Keonhee and me! What on earth has happened in between you two? Why didn't you tell me about it? Why??"

Hwanwoong was standing right in front of his older brother in their family study that once belonged to their father. Seoho was sitting on the other side of the main desk, wearing a both curious and surprised look. Mr Yeo had seen her son along with none other than Mr Youngjo walking back home from the country hand in hand and she had almost collapsed at the entrance. Eunseong and Seyoung were waving some air at her face while laughing as they stared and Mr Youngjo who was waiting for their brother to come out of the study. Mr Youngjo had been the one who had entered first and, when he had finally done talking to Seoho to ask for his blessing on their marriage, the other had required to speak with his brother Hwanwoong as a matter of urgency. So, there Hwanwoong was, waiting for his older brother to vent all his feelings and shock at him before explaining himself. He smiled like a fool: "I love him."

His brother's mouth dropped wide open at the news: "You... What Yeo Hwanwoong!? You love him?"

"I love him, Seoho. I'm in love with Mr Youngjo." He repeated, unable to hold back his happiness because it felt so good, it felt so right to say it out loud, proudly, honestly so. "I have been in love with him for so long I don't even understand when I realized that I can never live a life without him."

Seoho looked like he were about to have a seizure quite like their mother would have said in a moment like that: "I- I see but... How? We all know him to be nothing but a proud, unpleasant sort of fellow-"

"He's not proud!" His brother immediately interrupted him. "I was wrong... I was so incredibly wrong about him, Seoho. I- I know it might appear to you as something sudden and definitely unplanned but... You don't know him... Not like I do." Hwanwoong's voice was shaking as he was trying to take hold of his feelings in order to speak. "I didn't know him either but now I do. If I told you what he was really like, what he has done for me, for us, I know you would understand too!" He managed to say in the end.

Seoho frowned: "What has he done?" He asked and so Hwanwoong explained. He finally told his older brother about everything, everything he had been wanting to reveal to him from the very beginning.

He told him about Mr Yonghoon and Miss Yongsun. He told him about the reason behind Mr Keonhee's departure from Netherfield Park. He told him about Mr Youngjo's proposal on that rainy day in the middle of nowhere, just the two of them. He told him about his encounter with Lady Chaerin and her despicable behaviour. He told him about their meeting again in Mr Youngjo's house, when he had come to visit Pemberly along with their uncle and aunt. He told him about the other days they had spent there and their meeting with Miss Yongsun. He told him about realizing his feelings towards Mr Youngjo along with his confusion and how the dreadful news of Sujin's flee had frozen their relationship in order for Hwanwoong to take care of his family. He told him about Youngjo's help and support right after, about how he had not only found their sister and Mr Yonghoon, but how he had also financed the entire wedding without taking credits for it whatsoever. He told him that Mr Keonhee's return might had also been Mr Youngjo's doing and that, when he had met him earlier than morning, after Lady Chaerin's unpleasant visit to them, after everything that had happened in between them, Mr Youngjo had decided to put it all aside and ask for his hand once again, Hwanwoong had had no other answers but yes.
