-Miura Household-

Haru took out the box she had been keeping in her storage room for quite a while, and carried it to the living room.

With a deep breath, she took off the lid and views what was inside the box. She was planning on keeping it a secret forever. But she knows that secret is bound to get revealed one day.

She taking out the items inside. A pair of black suit with dark purple shirt. A silver wedding ring, another ring with purple stone with some engraving in foreign language, a tiny purple box and a wallet. Yes, the items inside belong to Kyoya. Hibari Kyoya that she kept for almost 5 years.

She braved herself to open the wallet, something she haven't done since she decided to store the item inside. There was a picture of a beautiful pregnant lady. She looks so beautiful, with her ethereal look as the sun gleams on her beauty. Soft smile in the picture as she placed her hand on her bump. Haru know who she is.

=Flashback=

Both Haru and Tsuna took a seat at the garden in the hospital. Tsuna passed a tissue for Haru, as she seem to calm down from her outburst.

"You don't have to worry. I will return Hibari back to you," said Tsuna, staring at the blue sky.

"That's what you said. But not the other man with curly-sideburn said," Haru interjected.

"It is my decision to make, not his. I know Hibari is my husband, and the father of my son. But maybe I just being a bit selfish here and a bit cruel to my son for denying him of his father," said Tsuna, which Haru keep silent as she didn't understand Tsuna's point at that moment.

If Tsuna already know about Hibari's real identity, why she didn't act on it? Why is she playing along with it?

"Are you trying to trick me?" asked Haru, which Tsuna laughed.

"This is the hospital where I first met my Hibari. I was 9 years old and he was 11 years old. I remembered he was hospitalized due to pneumonia and I was here visiting my grandpa Tim. I met him in this exact garden, funny how the landscape hasn't changed given the years,"

"He was all alone sitting here, no kids around want to play with him. I don't know if it's his vibes or he just didn't like the crowd. Some might view him as a strange weird boy cause there he was talking with a small bird, which later he named Hibird, a small yellow canary. I tried to approach him, and he shot me the deadliest glare he could give," laughed Tsuna as Haru continued to listen to her story.

"But slowly, he warmed up to me and my guardians. Because of this, his life was dragged into the one I lived in, which I certainly hope not to. He was supposed to have normal, mundane life but because I approached him that day, his fate was sealed,"

"But Haru-san, you help to give him the life he is supposed to have and I don't plan on taking that away from him for the second time. That's why as I promised in our first meeting, that I will return him back to you," said Tsuna, smiling as she walked away.

But Haru as a woman, she knows despite Tsuna showing her a smiling face, she was deeply hurt.

=Flashback End=

Too deep in her thoughts, she didn't realize that someone had entered her apartment.

"Haru?" A voice called for her name, snapped her out of her thoughts. She turned to look and was surprised to see it was Hibari, looking at her.

"Hibari!," exclaimed Haru in suprise for his sudden appearance. She unconsciously hides the wallet she holds behind her back.

Hibari frowned as Haru never adressed him using his last name. Ever. Before he could ask further questions to Haru, he heard a high-pitched squealing sound of a small animal in his ears.

He turned to look at the items on the coffee table, beside Haru. A glint coming from the purple box. Frowned, as if he recognized it somewhere, he touched the box.

All of a sudden, a rush of memories flooded his mind. He groaned in pain while gripping on his hair. Haru looked at him in worry.

"Kyoya?" Haru tries to touch him, to see if he's okay, only her hand to be slapped away by him. Hibari showed an expression of pain and hatred, before he collapsed on the floor.

Hibari found himself floating in a void. He looked around only to see a pitch black space.

'Where am I?' suddenly he heard a familiar high-pitched squeals and out of nowhere come a small animal resembling a hedgehog, toward him.

'Kyuu~,' squeal the hedgehog, before jumping toward him.

'Roll?' Hibari uttered out a name. The hedgehog smiled at him and jumped toward a door, which appeared out of nowhere. Hibari only followed him and opened the door. A light blinded his vision.

--
"What are you doing here alone?" A voice belongs to a brunette. Hibari focused on the boy she was talking to and it was him. Only younger.

"It's none of your business, herbivore. Leave me alone," a younger Hibari growled at the girl. But the girl ignored him and took a seat beside him.

"What's his name?" Asked the girl about the yellow canary that he hold. Young Hibari remained silent, refused to acknowledge her existence.

"My name is Tsunayuki Sawada. I came here to visit my grandpa Tim," said the girl, only by then her face become clear to Hibari.

"Let's be friends," smiled Tsunayuki, which taken young Hibari by surprise.

--

Young Hibari could only tolerated the girl's presence alone. She was one kind of chatterbox that he known. She keeps telling him about her other friends-slash-guardians. After some time, her mother would come to call for her as they're leaving.

"I see she had taken an interest on you," said a man, wearing fedora like it was some kind of western movie.

"And you are?" Asked young Hibari coldly, clearly show his aloof personality.

"That idiot girl tutor. Say, do you want to become one of her guardians?" Asked the man.

"What's in it for me?"asked young Hibari.

"You get to spar with me and lots of other people that are stronger than you.But above all, you get to protect her by her side," said the man.

"Is she in danger?" Asked Young Hibari, as he already viewed the girl as one of small animal.

"Kinda. Even right now, her life is targetted more than before," the man sighed. Tsunayuki probably gonna take the mafia throne earlier than expected as Timoteo health isn't looking as promising.

"Okay," answered Young Hibari, which taken the man by surprise.

"That's settle it then. For now, you're the Cloud Guardians of Vongola," the man tossed him a ring which he caught and look at it. Young Hibari looked at the man in question.

"To be the aloft, drifting cloud that protects the family from an independent standpoint, and whom nothing can ever bind. That is your duty," said the man, before leaving.
