Day and night, they can be found huddled
over their desks, papers spread about,
pen ink stains on their hands, laptop open,
and headphones on.

Every test has a large 100% marked on it.

Every report card is filled with A's.

Every assignment is used as an example for the rest of the class.

𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦
𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙭𝙝𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙.

So, they decide they need a break. But it doesn't go quite according to plan. They quickly realize that without a 2,000 word essay to make their teachers frame it with a spotlight over it, they are bored and need a project. An experiment, even. Then they come up with a fabulous idea: What does it take to be on top of the world? They're already dominating in many academic aspects, but their social aspects are lacking.

They were never too popular in the school's social hierarchy, but...why? They have the best grades in the school. They're nice to everyone. They're in every club. So, why do people stare in confusion when their names get called?

Well, they're determined to find out in the all new action-adventure series
"QUEST TO FIND THE INSTAGRAM FOLLOWERS"

Nah, just kidding. They're too broke for that kind of budget. Nevertheless, popularity is something to be desired...for some. Is it for them?

Oh yeah, and the already existing popular kids are about a thousand years behind and have no idea what the fuck is even happening anymore.

A/N: I am insane. I'm literally starting this while applications for Anagapesis are still open lol. I suppose I did this to myself. I need to chill it with my self sabotaging tendencies.

Anyway, I randomly came up with this plot idea on a Sunday at approximately 3:52pm. I know this plot is pretty cliche, with the 'nerds take their glasses off and bam they're the new prom queen' thing, but I promise I'll add some twists to it. Maybe even some dark ones...but trust me, this will be extremely unserious, much like myself. I'm just a silly girl in this silly world doing silly shenanigans in a silly and slightly masochistic way, and no one can stop me.
