The three students soon followed the curse. They stayed on their guard, ready to fight any kind of danger. According to their teacher, other curses could be hidden in the building, and thus causing problems. If their opponent had a low level, it wouldn't be much of an issue with Amaya on their side. However, if they faced a stronger threat, they would have to rely on her, even if they knew little of her.

The group walked between old furniture. An old lamp had been left on a desk, however, it was impossible to switch it on, electricity had stopped running in the building for a while.

Noises came from each side of the room. Many curses were hidden in it, but Amaya's only presence made them step back. They stayed hidden, hoping that the other curse doesn't find them.

However, understanding she saw them, a few curses jumped towards the three teenagers. Amaya stared at them for a simple second, they ran away.

- I believe this is the end of the problem ! she said, quite confident. Those curses were only fourth grades, they probably will be catched by Gojo... No need to lose time running after them.

Nobara raised her shoulders, ready to go back and eager to return to the college.

However, she heard a strange noise. Sukuna's face showed itself once again on Yuji's cheek.

- It's not over... he chuckled. You forgot one strong curse. I feel it...

Nobara gazed at him for a while, asking herself why he would help them. She stopped walking, trying to concentrate and feel their last enemy's cursed energy.

- This one must be powerful if I didn't notice it before... she said. But why telling us ?

Sukuna looked at her, a smile on his face.

- Because it might be funny this time... he chuckled.

- It seems to be a problem for us... Megumi stated. If a powerful curse hides here, we should report the situation to Gojo... No order about this one was given to us.

- Why go back if you have Amaya with you ?! Sukuna protested. Come on, she's here, you're safe with her !

Yuji thought about it for a few seconds.

- He's right... he decided. We already noticed it, it won't be to annoying finding where it is. We could d'un away, but nothing would tell us if we found it next time... In addition, it could trap us if we come back without knowing where it is...

Nobara raised her shoulders, doubting this plan. The group followed the cursed energy. After a few seconds, they could notice a curse with distorted limbs and bright orange eyes which shone in the dark atmosphere of this place.

The creature approached, as it looked at the group. Everybody froze for a second. Megumi's dog ran towards it, but, with a simple punch, the curse made it disappear. Its owner shivered, looking at this strange opponent with horrified eyes.

- Stay behind me ! Amaya ordered in a confident tone.

- This is our work, did you forget ?! Yuji shouted. You're older than us, but you don't have to fight alone !

The woman sighed, annoyed. She had to fight while checking on three students who risked death at any moment.

Nobara got a few needles out her sleeves, while Megumi created another dog. However, the three exorcists hid their shivering bodies, as they were anxious about the situation. They tried to appear as confident as possible.

Amaya ran towards her enemy, hitting it several times with her mere fists, reinforced with cursed energy.

The other curse managed to dodge much of it, as it was probably a special grade curse which hid there, waiting for humans to come in. It regenerated its body quickly, and even Amaya faced some difficulty.

She lacked training, as she did nothing for a thousand years. The purple-eyed lady could only tried avoiding the kids to receive some attacks. She lost any advantage.

Yuji ran towards them, trying to hit the other curse. However the teen's presence could only made Amaya's fear grow, and, even with her great strength, she couldn't use her techniques. Putting pressure in the room to make her opponent's moves harder was not an option, as her allies could be affected too, and, if the danger came, they couldn't act. She had to fight with her bare hands.

Megumi and Nobara came quickly, and, for several minutes, they tried to help her. However, annoyed with si many attacks, the enemy threw Amaya away for a few seconds, in order to deal with the exorcists. It gave it enough time to throw them against the walls, their backs hitting it in a loud crash. Even though their wounds weren't a danger for their lives, they couldn't react for a while.

Amaya tried fighting alone, putting all the efforts she could in the fight as her allies were more vulnerable.

- Let me go !!! Sukuna yelled as his vessel tried moving his limbs.

- Don't even think about it... the other answered. Last time, you betrayed me and tried to kill my friends !

- Amaya won't do it alone, she's trying to protect you ! Without me, the fight's lost... You can't get up without regenerating your body, or you'll have to wait a bit. That's enough time for your ally to die. Your enemy's fast, si even if she buys you time, her plan won't work ! In fact, she just tried to keep you alive ! She can't use her techniques while you're here !! She's waiting for you to run away, but she won't get enough time !! I don't want to hurt your friend... I just want to save mine.

Sukuna's serious tone made him shivered. Was he sincere ?

The pink-haired boy thought for a second. No other idea came to him, he sighed. The situation could go a lot worse with Sukuna.

- Yuji ! Amaya yelled as she fought back. Gojo's outside, but we can't call him from here ! Let Sukuna take control of your body, he'll help me fight ! As soon as Megumi and Nobara are able to move, they'll tell him about the situation ! I can't protect you all alone, and I could avoid Sukuna hurting people ! Your teacher's here either way, he won't let anything happen ! Just leave is fight together, please... I'd have no interest on trying something which couldn't work, I'd just end up getting killed. Please, listen to me !

The studend opened his eyes wide. Amaya could lose her life to such a plan, and she was still trying to protect them. The boy sighed. Not feeling able to get up, he lowered his head.

- I trust you... he finally said.

When he looked up, another man had taken control of this body. A smile appeared on the woman's lips.

- Thank you, Sukuna... she said in a grateful voice as she admired her friend's confident walk towards her.
