Jackson, Aaron, and Celina aren't in it and Tim and Lucy never went undercover together. Based right after Tim breaks up with Ashley but Lucy doesn't know yet

It starts as a normal day and during roll call gray tells Tim he's riding alone because Lucy needs to help Angela and Nyla with a case.
Tim goes to set up the shop then heads out. "7 Adam 100 we have a noise complaint at 392 N Adler street"
"7 Adam 100 show me responding"
He heads over and knocks on the door, he hears yelling and people running so he kicks the door down. They start shooting at him and he gets shot in both of his arms, he's knocked unconscious but eventually wakes up, his head is pounding and his arms are killing him. It feels like he's lifting 1000 pound weights when he reaches for his radio, finally he does and all he can get out is a weak "help"
Two minutes later he hears sirens and takes a breath of relief, he gets to the hospital and they check him out. They say he's gonna have to stay till his labs are done and they ask if there's anyone he wants them to call he says Lucy Chen. They say ok and leave.
Tim's pov
Shit, why did I say Lucy idk what to do but I'm so exhausted and I can't even think right now
Lucy's pov
"Hello this is Lucy Chen?"
"Hi Lucy, this is the hospital and your friend Tim wanted us to tell you that he's here."
"Umm ok well I'll be there in a few thanks"
Uhh... why did they say he wanted to tell me I mean thanks but what about gray??? I'm so confused?
"Hey gray I just got a call and apparently Tim is in the hospital."
"WHAT"
"Yeah idk but let's go"
They get there.
"Tim what happened?!"
"Honestly idk it was just a noise complaint"
" ok well I'm gonna go talk to some people about this, Chen will stay with you,"
"Tim, why did you tell them to call me? And where is Ashley?"
"Lucy, me and her broke up"
"WHAT"
"Yeah"
"So that's why you've been grouchy?"
"Yeah" he chuckles " Lucy I'm really sorry but I'm exhausted so I'm gonna sleep"
"Ok"
Eventually the nurse comes in and says they can leave.
"Tim I'm gonna take you home."
"Are you sure, I can call an Uber"
"Yes Tim"
Lucy helps him to the car and the drive is quiet. All Lucy can think about is why Tim called her and how he didn't tell her they broke up.
