As morning light crept into the room, Mia woke up, gently placing Charlotte's head on a pillow. She quietly tidied up, collecting the mugs and straightening the room. With a fond look at charlotte , Mia silently wished her a peaceful rest before slipping out to start the day.
As Mia drove Charlotte to Reece's nursery, the air between them was filled with a comfortable silence, the soft hum of the engine the only sound in the car. Charlotte gazed out of the window, lost in thought, while Mia stole glances at her from time to time, a smile coming across her face.
"Have a great day, Sweetheart. I'll see you soon," Mia said, her eyes aligned with Charlottes.
Charlotte returned the smile, her heart warmed by Mia's presence. "Thank you."
With a final wave, Charlotte stepped out of the car, ready to embrace the day ahead, knowing that no matter where she was, Mia would always be there for her.
Mia now had to clear some heat, she saw marjorie walk across the car park. She was extremely protective over charlotte and to hear that her colleague of 10 years had stated "i don't want to be around you anymore" Made her blood boil.
She parked up hastily and caught up with her.
