"Fuck, Yeon I need you to do me a favour!" Yujeong shouted as she hurriedly placed her heels on her feet, stumbling around a little as she got ready for her second date that month.

"I'm literally alive and breathing, what more could you want?!" The ginger haired girl asked from the sofa as she played some noisy video game on her phone.

"I need you to go to a PT meeting for me when you pick up Yurim today" Yujeong said, disregarding her younger sister's previous statement. Yeona hummed S if she was in deep thought before looking at her sister

"That would require me leaving the house so...no." She deadpanned, turning her eyes back to the game and Yujeong rolled her eyes, grabbing a cushion and smacking her with it—not so lightly because she did have older sister privileges.

"Ow! What the fuck?!" Yeona exclaimed, standing up to her feet with a groan as she saw she had lost the game

"Please go. I already cancelled on this guy twice and if I don't show up on the date today he'll literally never ask me out again. Come on Yeon!" Her sister practically begged and Yeona let out an exasperated sigh

"Twenty dollars" Yeona shrugged simply, looking for a financial incentive

"What?" Yujeong asked, hands on her hips as her brows furrowed

"Twenty and I'll go to the PT meeting" Yeona said and Yujeong practically growled as she picked up the cushion to smack her again, chasing her around the apartment

"You live in my house, eat my food, use my electricity and you can't even do me one favour—"

"Fine okay! Jesus!" Yeona exclaimed as she covered her face from the harsh thuds of the fabric cushion

"Ten dollars" Yeona said with a frown and Yujeong lifted up a brow in warning and Yeona smiled menacingly

"I'm joking, take a chill pill. I'll go to that PT meeting" Yeona said, giving in and Yujeong finally dropped the cushion

"Thank you" she replied and Yeona tied her hair up into a bun before stretching a little from spending the last few hours on the couch that she slept on majority of the nights while she crashed at her sister's place.

"Why do I even need to go to this—I swear if this is some meeting where they say that Yurim has so much potential but is easily distracted, I'm going to off myself" Yeona grumbled and Yujeong sighed for a second as she filled up her purse with items

"I don't even know what it's for—I'm just worried that she might've got sick or—oh my god! What if the kids in school bullied her or—"

"Oh relax! If anything, your kid is the one bullying others. Like mother, like daughter" Yeona teased and Yujeong rolled her eyes

"Alright just...call me if you need anything. I'll see you after dinner" Yujeong said quickly, shooting her sister a grateful smile before running out of the apartment to not be late for her date that was surprisingly going well.

Yeona sighed before walking towards the bathroom, deciding to take a shower and wash away the dirt that probably lingered on her body since her ballet class yesterday.

Yeona—unlike Jaemin—wasn't a simple human being with a normal life. Actually, she was far from it. She was pretty impulsive and lived life however she wanted to, not worrying about money or what other people really thought of her. As long as she was happy, nothing else mattered. Call her stupid, call her spoilt—because in this case, you would be right.

Yeona was always taught to follow her dreams after her parents discovered her amazing dance talent at such a young age, pushing her to academies and dance schools, shoving what she called a hobby so far down her throat that she basically shit out a career as a professional ballet dancer.

And while her hard to impress parents seemed to always differentiate her from her older sister Yujeong, who had a baby far too young for their liking, Yujeong never had any resentment. And even after they moved away from their home, she continued to support her younger sister who seemed to be the only supporter of her own life choices.

In other words, Yeona was basically leeching off of her older sister whenever she could catch a break from her pretty hectic and demanding job that took up most of her life, offering to help out with Yurim whenever she could since her parents clearly didn't want anything to do with her—just like her father. Yujeong was a single mother to her only child Yurim, even though sometimes it felt like her young sister might just be her other child.

Yeona smiled as she looked at her outfit in the mirror, hoping this was acceptable enough to show up in to a school. After all, she, like most people, didn't hang around schools a lot.

Hell, she barely even went to one herself. So it was a pretty odd feeling that took over her as she saw little kids exiting the small building with bright smiles on their faces with juice boxes in their hands as their parents collected them. The same kids who she, about 20 years ago, used to be jealous of. While they got to go home or to afterschool cares and play around to their heart's content, she had to push herself and grind until her toes felt numb at ballet practice.

"Where's mommy?" Yurim asked as she approached her aunt—which she treated more like an older sister—with a small smile on her lips, excited to spend the day with Yeona instead. She loved her mom, but she loved Yeona more because she always got ice cream on the way home.

"Your mom's busy tonight so you and I are gonna have a movie night because it's..." Yeona trailed off to create momentum while Yurim widened her smile

"Friday!" She giggled excitedly while clapping her hands

"Hi. Could I talk to you for a second?" A hurried and somewhat flustered voice said from behind the small girl and Yeona looked up to see a young man just about her age with pink cheeks and frustrated eyes.

"I'm sorry you are...?" Yeona asked, trying not to audibly express just how good looking the man in front of her seemed.

"Jaemin, I'm Yurim's teacher. I called you in for a PT meeting today to discuss your daughter's recent behaviour" he explained clearly, fists tightened by his side lightly to show his visible distress from the number of times Yurim had called him the god awful word by now.

And unfortunately, Yeona was too busy eye-fucking him to let the mistake in his statement register in her head.

"Your daughter keeps calling me....daddy" Jaemin spat out quickly before the embarrassment of the situation could take over him, whispering the word out of pure humiliation at having to explain this to her in the first place. And Yeona's lips parted slightly at his statement.

"First of all, she's not my daughter..." she trailed off, eyes lowering to his chest that lightly heaved up and down—his extremely built and perfectly defined chest that the buttons on this shirt could barely even contain

"And second of all...I don't blame her." She blurted out before she could stop herself, catching her lower lip between her teeth as her eyes followed the vein on his neck and up to his face, meeting his incredibly infuriated eyes again.
