Sid was about to knock at the door of Monami's room but the door was open and Monami seemed to be lost in her own thoughts, smiling and rubbing a flower on her cheek, just like Karan had done in her dream in the rain.

So Sid top toed near her and whispered in her ear, "Kya kya karwa rahi hai sapne mein Usse?."

Monami was startled.

"K..k..kuch nahi. Main kya karwaungi"

Then she realised what Karan had said and charged at Sid, "Pehle tu bata ki Karan ko kya kaha? Aur kyun kaha? Tune usko ye bola ki meri life mein koi ladka hai? Are you mad or what?"

"Usne bataya tujhe? Wo aaya tha na tere paas? Jal gaya hoga na?" Kya kaha usne?" Sid was excited and curious.

"Jealous velous nahi tha wo. Par..." Monami sighed

"Par kya?" Sid was too curious

"Pata nahi.... Itne sawaal kar raha tha. Poori inquiry kar raha tha - kaisa hai? Supportive hai ya nahi? Caring hai ya nahi? Mujhe pasand karta hai ya nahi?
Sidddd... I am worried. Wo agar mujhe like karta hai to mere crush ke baare mein kyon jaanana chahta tha?"

"Arrey Monu...wo tujhe like karta hai tabhi to check Kar raha hoga na ... ki uska chance hai ya tu kisi aur ke saath serious hai. Tune kya kaha usko?"

"Usne kya kaha?" Faizi checked with Karan. "Tumhara chehra itna utara kyon hain"

"Nahi, aisi koi baat nahi hai. Bas soch raha hoon" Karan said in a deliberating tone.

"Kya soch rahe ho? Ama pehle ye to batao ki Monami kisko pasand karti hai" Faizi tried to control his curiosity

Karan: "Mujhe kya pata? Usne nahi bataya"

Faizi: "Accha , chid kyon rahe ho"

K: "Tu bekaar sawaal mat pooch"

F: "Achcha to chehra kyon banaya hua hai?"

K: "Matlab, ajeeb sa lag raha hai. Waise Monami kaafi sure lagi uss ladke ko le lekar. Usse lagta hai wo kaafi support karega usse"

F: "Aur tum? Tumhe kya lagta hai?"

Karan was quiet.

"This suspense is killing me" Monami paced around her room nervously, ranting to Sid. "Wo mujhe like karta hai to directly bolta kyon nahi. Itne hint to diye maine aaj usko"

"Shayad wo bhi tujhe hint de raha ho. To academy ki cadet hai, shaayad wo sure hona chahta ho kuch bolne se pehle"

"Ab main kya karoon?"

"Dekh ab wait mat kar. Ab mohabbat ki baat nikli hai to ab peechhe mat hat bol de usse"

K: "Mujhe theek nahi lag raha. Monami ki assurances ke baat bhi mera gut feel sahi nahi hai"

Faizi was getting excited but tried to speak carefully: "Tumhari Gut feel sahi nahi hai , to ye to problem ho sakti hai"

K: "Haina? Kuch to sahi nahi ho raha"

Faizi smiled and wondered how Karan was completely oblivious to his own feelings. He wanted to help him understand his feelings but was worried that if Faizi calls it a name, Karan may just retreat back into his shell. So he let Karan some time to figure it out himself.

" Ek baat bataun" Monami said to Sid

"Haan..  of course bata" Sid said

Monami took a pause and then turned red while smiling.

"Blushing and all...aisa kya hua" Sid was curious

"Usne jaate jaate kaha ki...ki koi fool hoga jo mujh jaisi ladki se pyaar nahi karega" Monami explained

Sid screamed "omg Monu... iske baad bhi tu wait Kar rahi hai... jaldi ja aur jhappi daal ke bol de use ki you love him and hopes he won't be an fool"

Monami is lost in her thoughts with her heart eyes. She decides to get ready and confess her feelings without any delay. She was madly in love and could so strongly feel Karan's care and love towards her.

"Kuch aur der Karan, ab sab clear karte hain" Monami thought as she got dressed for the party.

Karan was getting ready for the party but her thoughts were with Monami.

"Pata nahi kyon Monami, dil mein kuch ajeeb sa feel ho raha hai. Aur iska connection tum se hai. Tum meri cadet ho. Ye to main ensure Kar ke rahunga ki tumhe ek safe, loving partner mile. Hope tum mujhe bata sako uske baare mein." Karan thought

"Abhi tumhari party enjoy karte hain." Karan said out loud
