The interview went well and the employer hired me on the spot after seeing my work. She was so sweet and understanding as I told her about how I just moved in and stupidly went out and got drunk, promising it wouldn't happen again, considering I'm not even a drinker.

She walks me out of her office as we continue to talk and become acquainted, she tells me about when I'll be needed to start, then we shake hands and I leave the building, thankful I never bumped into Anika on the way out.

I finally check my phone as I walk to my car, seeing a message from Naomi, a smile forms on my face.

'Hey girl!! We're going out for lunch later today if you wanna come.' I read the text, my smile growing bigger as I make myself think that she is thinking about me.

'I would love to! Just send me the address and let me know what time.' I reply, getting a response within seconds of Naomi telling me the time and sending me the address of a local Mexican spot.

I smile as I get in my car and head home to get changed and hopefully unpack a bit.

I take a calm ride back home, happy I was able to get the job after my major screw up, I pull up to my house, squinting my eyes in disbelief as someone is parked in my spot, I drive past the car slightly, noticing that the person is still in their Mercedes.

I scoff and roll my eyes. They think just because they own a nice car they can take my spot??

I think, getting myself riled up enough to block the person in with my car and get out and walk up to their car.

I get up to their tinted window and knock on it, it rolls down, revealing a brown skin woman with a freckled face, her curls in a high ponytail.

"Jodeci?!" I squeal in disbelief as I take a step back allowing her to get out.

My sister's eyes widen as she gets out of the car, squealing as well, embracing me into a hug.

"Sissy!!" We laugh as we rock each other back and forth.

"Oh my god, thank god it was you." I sigh of relief, realizing how crazy I was just being.

"Huh? Why?" She tilts her head at me confused.

"Cause, I was about to cuss out whoever was in this car for being in my spot, even blocked you in." I nod towards my car. Jodeci looks at my car and back at me, her mouth slightly dropped open.

"Cat..girl." A laugh escapes her lips. "You're so crazy!!"

"I know, I know. God it's been a long day sis, I'm fed up." I sigh, pinching the bridge of my nose.

"Well damn, the day just started, tell me about it as I help you unpack?" She reminds me; I completely forgot what she actually came here for, remembering now how grateful I'm feeling that she is.

I nod with a smile then look at my sister's car then back at her. "Once you get out of my spot." She sucks her teeth and we laugh.

After I got my spot back from my sister, we went up to my apartment and I got changed into something more comfortable before we started to unpack my things, my sister working on my living room while I worked on the kitchen.

"So how was your night out? I'm assuming, a lot of fun since you never got back to me." Jodeci presses jokingly, wanting me to admit that going out was a good idea.

"I mean it was definitely sooo much fun, even made a few friends-"

"See I told you!!" She excitedly cuts me off, my face drops at her and she quickly apologizes and waits for me to continue.
