Asuka's POV

I was new to the forest town. Honestly, being there was amazing! The first few days, I mostly just walked in the woods!

It seems that the area near the forest was home to the most amazing savior of the Earth, Son Goku.

All the stories I've been told are that he turned into a superman, although I know that can't be true. Actual superheroes don't exist anymore. If they did, shame on them for not helping to save the forests and plants of the world!

Currently, only 55% of the world's plants and trees still exist. Last week, back in Philadelphia, I learned about nearly all of the plants and where they came from. During class, I heard of a flower that was unknown to me! It was called a Tulip, isn't that a pretty name?
Why, the world is so amazing! Can't everybody else understand how much plants and trees help us? They're just splendid! Amazing! Cool!

"Asuka, it's time for lunch!" Cried an older, womanly voice. My mother.

"Coming, mom!" I yelled back through the beautiful springy woods.

It pained me to leave the woods, but I had to, otherwise, right after lunch, I wouldn't be able to check out my new neighbors! Mom told me I could go visit the house on the far side of the forest, where there lived the remaining relatives of the fairytale Son Goku. It's already been at least one century and a half since he disappeared!

Running back to my family's small new cottage, the smell of donuts, bread, and many other sweets drifted into my nose.

"What took you so long?" Complained a blond-haired twenty year-old man sitting at an oak table with a pretty red flower cloth on it.

"Nothing." I replied, knowing my brother, who would just tell me I'm weird.

"I know you were in the woods being a weird person."

There he goes. That big mouth of his.
"I am not weird!"

"Are too!"

"Am not!"

"You two, both of you, sit down and be quiet!" Bellowed a tall, muscular man with curly brown hair in his late forties. He had soft brown eyes that hardened when needed. My father.

"Hush dear, you'll frighten the child. Kyo is a gentle and weak babe yet!" Scolded the slightly younger woman, only in her early forties. She had straight light blond hair, with bright green eyes. My mother. The one who was calling for me earlier? That's her.

My older brother, Sannosuke, the curly blond-haired dude, he's the oddball. He has bright blue eyes, and acts nothing like my parents. More like my grandpa, although we've only heard stories about him. He died before we were born.

Now my baby brother, Kyo? He has straight blond hair. We don't know his eye color yet, but I'm hoping it's brown. He would look so adorable!

Me? I have super curly hair. It's dark brown, and I have razor sharp green eyes to go with it. Oh! By the way, I'm sixteen now, a junior in highschool.

Our personalities over all are very widespread. My brother is the annoying one who only acts like a brother when he feels necessary. Mom, she is just really strict, at least to us. She feels children should be well-grounded and taught well. Dad, he is pretty humorous, but he is always pretty serious at times, and can get really angry. Me? Well, I'm actually pretty nature-based. Mostly I am a focused person, who likes to get things done. Fun is always next after it. Sometimes I'm selfish, but I try to make up for it when I hang out at the Orphanages. Kyo is too young to know.

"Let's eat now, okay?" Mother broke my thoughts.

All of us agreed. Then we looked at the food. Oh goodness, what did she make this time?
