Asuka's POV
---

"You really don't like me, do you?"
Tears formed in my eyes, and he looked a bit shocked.

Then he shook his head, "I just find you to be a bit annoying. But that happens with every person I meet."

I felt that he was lying, but didn't have the courage to speak up. Opening my mouth to say something, I stopped, suddenly realizing it was stupid. When he noticed my reaction, he quickly spoke up.

"Do you want to be alone?" He asked quietly.

When I nodded, I looked up to the sky, then back to the house in front of me. It was my house. I sighed with a bit of sadness.

That was when I felt the air behind me stir. Gohan Jr. was flying high up in the sky already, not looking back for a moment.

A little too cocky... The words just came to my mind as I started up onto my front porch, to my door. If I was correct, school started soon. But that didn't matter to me right now. Now I don't have any friends, and it would have been nice to have someone to lean on if I get off at a bad start at school.

Thanks a lot, Asuka. I thought to myself, using sarcasm in my words.
Knocking on the door, I felt a rush, and then the door swung open. Mom rushed out and toppled over me, crushing my lungs in the process.

"Are you okay honey? Where is Gohan? Why are you breathing so rashly?" She questioned me as fast as her mouth would allow.

I let out a gasp.
"You're... Crushing... Me..." The words came out in a raspy voice that I assumed was my own.

Then the pressure was off my chest. I gave out a sigh of relief, trying to get back my normal breathing.

My dad was in the doorway, holding Kyo.

D'aww! So freaking cute! He was asleep, and dad was looking down at him quietly. Then he looked at me.

"So? You going to come inside?" Mother spoke quietly, as though Kyo would wake up if she used an indoor voice.

Roughly nodding, I got up, dusted myself off, and stumbled inside. I was stumbling due to my mother collapsing on me.

NOTE TO SELF: Never, ever, worry mother again. Reaction is scary.

Gohan Jr.'s POV

----

I flew home, quickly forgetting about the girl, and thinking about what I was eating for breakfast tomorrow.

That was obviously more important, right?

My father was waiting on the porch as I landed.

"You better get along with her. She knows our secret." He said in a gruff voice, totally different from earlier.

"..."

My voice refused to make sound, and I walked past my dad, nodding my head a bit.

Walking up to my room, my dad stopped me, again.

"If she lets out that we're Sayian, well, you know." He spoke in a serious voice.
Ignoring him, I finished going up the stairs and walked down the hallway to my room. Going inside, I closed the door and plopped onto my soft bed.
I need a good training partner. I thought to myself. It would be better than fighting with bears and practicing moves on trees.

Maybe...

No, that's enough of such stupid thoughts. Why would I ever consider practicing with her.
