Stargazing while holding hands with your homies.

A gentle, cool breeze drifted between the falling cherry blossom petals. The potent scent of blooming flowers, stretching across many miles of field, filled the spring air. The warm sun was beginning to kiss the earth good night, various shades of purples, yellows, and reds painting the gradually darkening sky.

A large tan man lay sprawled across the field, underneath the biggest cherry blossom tree. The color of his eyes matched the color of the falling petals. He stared up at the sky, up at the falling petals, lost in his own mind. Nothing but him, his thoughts, and the flowers.

Until a familar and welcome voice interrupted his thoughts.

"Ah-There you are," The silver haired man said. Sakakura flinched, surprised by the fact that his silence had been interrupted by the other man's voice.

"Munakata? What'd you seek me out for?" The green haired man asked.

The silver haired man remained silent for a few minutes, pondering the question before he sighed and said, "Oh dear, it appears that it's slipped my mind."

"Did you really spend that long looking for me that you forgot the reason why you came looking in the first place?" Sakakura asked with a playful tone.

"Appears I must have," Munakata answered.

"Didn't know I was so difficult to find, my bad," Sakakura laughed a little. Munakata sat down beside him. "Careful, you might get your nice suit dirty."

"It'll be fine. It'd be a shame to come all this way for nothing," Munakata replied, removing his blazer and setting it beside him. Sakakura tried not to keep his eyes lingering on the silver haired man for too long.

"Sorry for being a nuisance," Sakakura responded, feeling a bit guilty that Munakata had spent so long looking for him.

"Hm? You're not a nuisance. Besides, it gives me an excuse to look at the cherry blossoms."

"You don't need me as an excuse. You're allowed to take breaks."

"I don't particularly seek out these kinds of sights because there's work that could be done instead of making time for that. But, I suppose I can justify it if I'm looking for someone else and I just happen to end up in a field of flowers."

"Just don't work yourself to death. You deserve to enjoy life."

"You say that as though you and Yukizome don't work hard as well."

"Alright, you have a fair point."

Munakata laid down on the grass beside him and grabbed Sakakura's arm.

"What'd you grab my arm for?" Sakakura asked, surprised by the other's sudden touchiness. He'd expect it of Yukizome but not of Munakata, as he never was a person who cared much for physical touch.

"It'd be a shame to lose you when I spent so much time looking for you."

"I'm literally right beside you. I won't just walk away from you and not say anything."

"It's getting dark and I just want to have a reminder that I'm not alone," Munakata said, sounding a bit sad, which surprised and saddened Sakakura to hear. Sakakura had never really considered that maybe Munakata felt rather lonely at times, in spite of being around people a lot of the time.

"We can head back if you'd like."

"No, I just want to stay like this for a while. Please."

"Oh alright."
