As Cloud boarded the locomotive, he was surrounded by an aura of refined opulence. Gleaming brass accents adorned every surface, catching the soft glow of the ornate chandeliers overhead. The scent of rich leather wafted through the air, mingling with the subtle fragrance of fresh flowers arranged in porcelain vases. Ahead, the grand entrance to the main cabin beckoned invitingly, framed by intricately carved mahogany arches. Beyond, plush velvet seats beckoned passengers to sink into their sumptuous embrace, each adorned with silk pillows in hues of gold and burgundy. Crystal decanters of fine spirits stood at the ready on polished mahogany side tables, alongside delicate porcelain cups for sipping afternoon tea. As the author took his first steps into this luxurious haven on wheels, he couldn't help but marvel at the craftsmanship and attention to detail that surrounded him.
"Wow, now this is quite grand..." Cloud was having an internal monologue. Cloud checked his ticket, Room 078. He began to proceed forward and began to look for his assigned suite, he reached his assigned suite and double-checked his ticket, ensuring he was in the right room. As his ticket said it was room 078 and he was in front of his assigned room, Cloud stepped into his luxurious suite aboard the opulent locomotive, greeted by an ambiance of unparalleled comfort and sophistication. Soft lamplight danced across the plush furnishings, casting a warm glow upon the intricate woodwork and elegant décor. A faint aroma of freshly cut flowers mingled with the subtle scent of fine leather, creating an atmosphere of refined indulgence. "This is quite lovely and luxurious..." Cloud began to scan his surroundings, there was a single table with a porcelain vase with flowers. Cloud was thrilled to see a table, perfect for him to resume writing his manuscript. Cloud lounging on an opulent train seat to take a breather before continuing on with his manuscript. The ambiance of the suite was quite exquisite. There was a knock at his suite, he stood up and walked towards the suite, as he opened it, he was met with the hospitality staff. "Ah! I guess the train attendant wasn't lying when she said her favourite author was on board...'' The staff was a bit eager to meet the author, as they were also a big fan of Cloud's works, but had forgotten they still had duties to execute. "My apologies for intruding unexpectedly, but supper is ready in the dining car, feel free to go if you have an empty stomach, Mr. Strife!" the staff said before walking into the corridors of the locomotive. Cloud looked back at his manuscript, he currently needed inspiration, as he was working with his current novel about a pianist, who is also a killer.
Cloud decided he was going to stroll around the corridors, making him more familiar with the place just in case... Cloud opened the door to his suite as he was now outside of his suite. Cloud began to explore the opulent corridors, he looked to his left to see the rushing scenery. It was dark and a bit eerie for most people, but for Cloud, it was soothing. He continued to walk his way to explore the glamorous corridors as he wasn't paying any attention to what's in front of him. And as a result, he accidentally bumped into someone, Cloud heard a grunt from them, he apologized. "I'm so sorry!" Cloud said, "I wasn't looking where I was going! Forgive me for bumping into you." "No need to be sorry," he answered coolly, his voice devoid of any hint of emotion. "If you'll excuse me, I have more pressing matters to attend to." Cloud regained his composure and looked at the man he bumped into, it was the same man with long silver hair. "Wait!" Cloud ran up to the man, he saw the man's handsome face, his eyes were so mesmerizing, eyes green like an emerald with those slit pupils, it reminded Cloud of a snake. "I was wondering if you want to drink with me? It's fine if you don't want to." Cloud offered. The man pondered for a moment, then answered, "Why not? I find myself with a surplus of leisure time presently." Cloud was thrilled, he doesn't know why, but he's just thrilled. He looked familiar though, reminds him of a musician he had long forgotten, No matter, he'll remember.
