Chapter 5: Silhouettes Of The Captain. Back at the Kingdom in the Captain's Office..
 Dil is standing near his bookshelf with his book closed as if he's waiting for something. After a moment of silence, a Flaxion with a dark cloak emerges from the shade of the other side of the room and kneels down awaiting for an order. Dil grants the Flaxion the permission to speak to hear about his report and findings. "You may speak, what have you found during your investigation?" The cloaked Flaxion tells Dil about what they had found during their investigation and explaining everything they know. "In the East, we have detected a large amount of mana pressure which came from a dungeon sealed for years. We investigated this case and it seems an individual of the past has awakened from its slumber, although they are at a weak state, they can still post a threat to our Kingdom or other matters." "Not only that, a race that was supposed to be extinct has been found within the ruins at the west. There's only two of them but both of them have high amount of mana pressure and they seem to possess the Affinity Of Gravity and the Affinity of Lightning. They can be a serious threat to not only us but to the surrounding kingdoms, fortunately they haven't made many moves and is consistently killing monsters around the area. That's all for our investigation." Dil stays silent for a moment before telling the cloaked Flaxion to look further into both cases but to have the extinct race on top priority. "Look more into them. We can leave that person of the past for now. Those two individuals of that extinct race may become a huge problem for us. As usual, do not directly interfere with any of them. Report back to me immediately after observing them enough." The cloaked Flaxion nods and gets dismissed by Dil. "You may go now. Your report is understood."In a blink of an eye, they suddenly disappear before Dil as he puts his book back into the shelf and heads to his desk to fill in paper work. Meanwhile at the forest.. A cloaked Vulpes seems to be watching Stark who has met up with the reinforcement and is heading back to the Kingdom. The Vulpes senses a monster's mana pressure and uses flash step to arrive at its location. They find the source of the mana pressure and finds out its an Orc that just arrived at the camp Stark's expedition group took care of. They seem to be larger in size, has a dark-like appearance with white eyes and wields a greatsword. The Vulpes instantly unsheathes their weapon and flash steps to behead the Orc. The orc instinctively parries the attack coming from the side and stands on guard expecting another attack just to see mist forming around them and reducing its vision to see their own surroundings. Before the Orc could figure out what was happening, they immediately fall to the ground without them knowing both achilles tendon in their leg was cut. The Orc tries to use it's abilities but before they could do anything.. SHING! They instantly get beheaded killing them off. The mist clears out as the Vulpes sheathes their katana. Before the Vulpes takes it's leave, they throw something at the corpse of the Orc that causes the entire body to burn without a single trace. After the Vulpes senses it's surroundings making sure nothing else is around, they use flash step to leave the area. Meanwhile at the West Ruins.. CRickkk.. CRASH! A thunder bolt comes crashing down into some monsters roaming the ruins causing them to die. A humanoid figure with a purple halo surrounding their head comes out from behind of a destroyed structure comments about their Affinity's power. "Dang, this feels so good. I can finally use my Affinity after a long time. This power is amazing!"

Another person who also has a purple halo surrounding their head comes out from behind the building and asks them if they're ready hunt other things. "Liam, are you good now? I wanna kill something else other than these weak monsters in these ruins." Liam tells them he needs a bit more time to get used to his Affinity again. "Hold on Ahmed, give me more time to get used to my Affinity again, just go throw boulders around or something." Ahmed agrees to give him more time while he does something else to waste time. "Okay, take your time. I'm just gonna kill anything I see around here. Let me know if you're done getting used to your Affinity." Both go their separate ways with Liam agreeing he'll let him know if he's done. Somewhere nearby, a cloaked figure who has completely concealed their presence is listening to the conversation between Liam and Ahmed. The figure decides to observe Ahmed to get a more understanding of his Affinity Of Gravity. Back at the Captain's Office.. While taking a small break, Dil reminisces about the The Silhouettes that's directly under his order. "The Three Silhouettes. Three people that have ultimately pledged themselves to me and specializes in a lot of things such as grasping valuable information, observation, concealment and many more. Even if their purpose is to observe and gain valuable information, they have insane talent for combat. All their Affinities match with the way they work, nothing too loud or flashy." "All three of them bear each letter of my name which is where the name Captain's Silhouettes came from, it was the first member who suggested such an idea and I ended up going along with it."

"D, a Human and the first to join the Silhouettes and the one to inherit the first letter of my name. Although I told her to just keep her own name, she insisted on the idea of taking that letter. She is by far the strongest of the Three Silhouettes and uses the Affinity Of Flower." "I, a Flaxion and the second to join the Silhouettes. He doesn't talk as much as the other two and only ever does anything If ordered to do so. He's a loyal subordinate and will do anything without hesitating, he's the second strongest of the Three Silhouettes and bears the Affinity Of Shadow." "L, a Vulpes and the last to join the Silhouettes. Whenever we get some sort of free time, he's usually the first to brag about his achievements and the first to start a conversation in the group. Aside from his personality, he can be a demon during battle. He's capable of using flash step more than the other two, his ability to swiftly finish his work is astounding and to think this is the third strongest of the Three Silhouettes. With his line of specialty, the Affinity Of Mist suits him very well."

Back at the West Ruins.. The cloaked figure is following Ahmed who seems to be moving out of the ruins and is walking towards a forest. Ahmed who is looking for something to waste his time with senses some mana pressure deeper into the forest and starts running towards it with the intent to kill. He eventually finds the source of the mana pressure and sees a giant black bear with white eyes. The giant bear notices Ahmed and aggressively roars at him before charging towards him. Ahmed who is unfazed by it's roar summons a cestus made from his Affinity Of Gravity and dodges a ferocious bite from the bear by moving to the side and immediately counter attacks by punching it's head and sending the bear throughout the forest breaking multiple trees in the way. The bear eventually lands on the ground and tries to stand up but falls down again, the bear persistently tries to stand up but to no avail as it keeps falling down to the ground as if something heavy is keeping them down. Ahmed walks up to the bear to see it struggling to get back up, this makes him laugh as he comments about his ability. "It's still powerful, I'm really glad I got to use this again after so long." As the bear still struggles to stand up, Ahmed puts an end to the creature by crushing it's head. Ahmed suddenly feels like he's being watched and turns around to check if there's anything behind him. He sees nothing and shrugs it off that it might've been just his imagination. The cloaked figure who was watching Ahmed flash steps out of the forest to observe the other individual.

After a bit, they arrive at the area Liam was at to see him experimenting with his Affinity. CRASH! CRASH! As Liam constantly uses his Affinity Of Lightning to kill anything in his way, he had enough and uses his Affinity to create brass knuckles made of Lightning. He tests his elemental weapon's power by punching a small rock hill. After a short delay, the small rock hill breaks into pieces and releases a large amount of Lightning out of it. Liam is proud of his power and continues to break things around the area to test more of his elemental weapon. The figure who is watching nearby continues to pursue him without being seen.
