17 years ago, at the most expensive hospital of the city, Mr. Scott was at room no. 15
"Riala...babe are you feeling alright? Is the twins okay? What did the doc said?"
"William hun, I am okay...the twins are okay too and the doc said that he will perform the surgery 2 hours later.."
"Have you thought of any names, Ria?"
"The astrologer said 'J' would be lucky for the twins... let's see... by the way William, have found a good nanny?"
"Nanny? Babe won't YOU be looking for the kids?"

The doctor barged in and commanded Mr. Scott to wait outside while he prepared for the surgery..he walked outside and called one of his workers

After a dreadful wait of 4 hours...he heard a cry from the emergency room. His kids were born
"Oh god.."
"Thank you doc, is my wife and kids okay?"
"Yes Mr. Scott, both are perfectly healthy... congrats on twins, you got a girl and a boy.. congrats, take care"
"Sure..doc"
Mr. Scott held up the boy and looked at his dark black eyes, and he was crying cutely
"Damn...look at this little guy Riala, huh...welcome to the world, the heir of RIORDAN EMPIRE...welcome to the world...Jake"
"Jake? Nice name honey...what about the other heir of RIORDAN EMPIRE?"
"Other heir? What do you mean? There is no other heir"

From the very next week Jake and Jasmine were looked by a Nanny. The next month their mother flew away to Hawaii to take a break. They barely got to see their mother. For the next 13 years the Nanny took care of them. Jake and Jasmine trusted the nanny more than their parents, because their dad would come home once a week from his office and their mother once theee weeks
But two years later their old nanny died, and 15 year old twins were left alone in their big mansion
"Jakee, do you want peanut butter on your toast?" Jasmine was incharge of their home
"Sure... Jaz, Mom texted that she will be coming next month..she is staying with her friend"
"Friend? What do you mean Jake? What kinda friend?"
"A male friend"
"Oh...does dad know about it?"
"He WOULD HAVE KNOWN IF HE CAME BACK FROM OFFICE" Jake had teary eyes
"Jake... please calm down. I know it's tough without parents but-"
"SHUT UP JAZZ, I DON'T NEED YOUR LECTURE. I'M GOING OUT!"
Jasmine was left all heartbroken. She fell on the floor and started crying.
After two years when Jake's dad came home after two weeks and called Jake inside his room.
"Jake we need to talk"
"Uh.. what's it father?"
"Jake... I'm sorry for everything I have done"
Jake was shocked. But he chuckled
"Father as if you have done anything in this 17 years..huh, you don't even stay at home... I am seeing you after 2 weeks"
"Jake.. that's because, I uh... I work hard for you two! You know your mom never stays at home, comes after 2-3 months, she doesn't cares about you-"
"Nor do you, dad"
"Jake...please. Look, Riordan empire is the 2nd most famous and expensive company..."
